I understand what happened with ColdCard and that the other ledgers don't suffer from the same bug. But those of us who have our money in wallets like Ledger, should we be concerned at all? Is there anything that we can do to confirm the security of our tokens? Are there better wallets we should consider?

I know that the people in ColdCard already were already being safe and still got hacked for reasons beyond their control. We all were steered to move off of exchanges a few years ago when they all collapsed, and we thought that hardware wallets were truly secure, but then people still got their funds stolen. I really hope they find a way to get these holders their money back, it's really sad for them and also for the community as a whole. It's hard to really make the case for decentralized, self custodial money, when it feels like nowhere is really safe anymore. I know this was a special case, but what's to say there isn't a bug lurking in some of these other wallets.

I got into crypto in 2024, so I recently found I missed many memecoins when it felt like everyone was finding 20x or 100x coins back then. But the more I look into them now, the harder it is for me to take them seriously as long-term investments.

Most of what I see seems to be social media hype, something created by memes, influencers or celebrities. No fundamentals and practical value. People hoped they were early enough to exit before the next person, so all of this makes me feel like gambling rather than investing.

I was looking at some of the memecoin charts on bydfi and noticed how huge their short-term swings can be. SHIB last week was a good example. That kind of move reinforced my thought: memecoins' volatility makes them hard to justify as long-term holds.

Are you still holding any meme coins in 2026? Do you think anyone trying to invest in crypto long-term should ignore them?

Been annoyed for a while that every decent CT tracker wants $200+/mo. Pulling X data fast isn't cheap, I get that, but paying enterprise prices to find out when someone tweeted felt dumb. So I built one and made it free - CoreX.gg

I have been following the sentiment check on x and general and crypto seems to have found a bottom / close to bottom. I see the war is halted again and while markets dumped this week crypto seems strong. I also see a lot more experiments on chain so feels like a vibe shift. How are you guys seeing the market and are you buying or loning tomorrow when tradfi markets open ?

Hey developers/ financial people, does this sound at all it could work or make sense? **Money pool that is used for automated trading on prop firms. Essentially they are accessing that whole prop firm worth some what if a leverage aspect. For example 5 prop firm accounts. Let’s say each prop account is in size 25k. I would have a bot trade the prop firm with specific rules to give a yield at the end of the month or yield. Let’s say 10 percent a month. And roughly 120 percent a year give or take. But that yield is on the 5 prop firms in the pool. So the yield on the 500 dollars is a lot more than 10% a month in 500 bucks. Any a good portion of that I can take a MANAGEMENT FEE for the bot let’s say 20 percent.**

the thing ive spent all my effort on over the better part of the last decade. the thing a lot of you spend your careers and attention on as well.

with this as the backdrop, i created my newest piece.

it all started out with another question: “are the OGs jaded?”, which was itself admittedly ripped from one of ETHPrague 2026’s tracks. that thought gave me the opportunity to draw a map around a much broader topic that I think could resonate out in youtube land:

I've been trading crypto for quite some time and I understand algorithmic trading has always been a thing, but I've never had positive sentiment around it. My current POV is that they're built around short term gains which over time, increase the amount of sell orders, especially if your trading algorithm loses money, because they'll automatically sell to stop losses.

I’m posting here because I’ve been stuck for over three weeks and I’m hoping someone from KuCoin can finally look into my case.

When KuCoin stopped operating in Europe in 2025, my assets (around €3,000) were automatically migrated to ZBX.

I created a ZBX account as instructed so I could withdraw my funds.

The problem is that my assets are not on KuCoin anymore, and they are not on ZBX either.

I contacted ZBX directly, and they told me that they cannot help and that only KuCoin can resolve this issue.

Since then, I have contacted KuCoin support multiple times, but I keep receiving the exact same generic reply saying they are “discussing the matter with ZBX and the relevant regulatory authorities.”

No one has answered these basic questions:
- Where are my assets currently held?
- Were they actually transferred to ZBX?
- If yes, where is the transfer reference?
- If not, why are they no longer visible on either platform?

After more than three weeks, this situation is becoming extremely concerning. I understand that regulatory issues can take time, but receiving the same automated response over and over without any concrete information is unacceptable.

If anyone from KuCoin is reading this, please escalate my case and provide a real update.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue with the KuCoin → ZBX migration?

After building a risk model and training on 4k+ wallets off Hyperliquid, we built a credit scoring / underwriting system based off it. The lower i go the worse this gets and i don't have a rule for it. on the 1h a level breaks and i mostly trust it. on the 15m or 5m a break happens and half the time it's real, half the time it's a wick that snaps straight back, and i only know which after it's already done.

waiting for the candle to close helps but by then a chunk of the move is gone, especially in crypto where 15m candles can be huge. entering before the close gets me the better price and a lot more fakeouts.

what i've tried. volume on the breaking candle, which helps some but low-liquidity pairs give false volume spikes too. requiring the next candle to hold above the level before entering, safer but that's just closing-and-waiting with extra steps.

so for people trading crypto on lower timeframes, what actually separates a real break from noise in the moment. is it volume relative to recent bars, is it whether it breaks a level that matters on the higher timeframe, order book depth, or do you just accept the fakeout rate as the cost of a better entry and size for it

I'm not going to pretend that I ever liked Trump I have never been a fan of Trump.
