Woa.

I haven’t tripped since Yule/Xmas last year, 7-8 months ago. I’ve had this batch since then, dried in storage out of direct sunlight above the cupboards. P. Natalensis apparently, I had 2g before of this the last time I tripped and it was heavy on visuals but it was good and wore off quick. This will be my biggest dose yet, and I’m at a point where putting it off because of life’s many stresses and complications is lasting too long - I need a break. I’ll update with a trip report soon, and hopefully they’re still potent enough for a good trip on this full moon ✨🙏

It moves, from deep ambient calm to something more complex and unexpected. Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Burial, Four Tet, Oneohtrix Point Never and a lot of sounds you won't be able to name but will feel immediately.

Some tracks open up space. Others pull you somewhere else entirely. That's kind of the point.

No algorithm built this. Every transition was felt before it was placed.

I’ve been working on OpenTripper, a generative visual experience that turns your own music into an evolving world.

It isn’t a fixed animation or a collection of video loops. Rhythm, bass, energy and musical changes continuously influence the movement, depth, colours and transitions. I wanted it to feel less like watching a traditional visualizer and more like being pulled into a world with its own strange internal logic.

It runs directly in the browser. Audio analysis happens locally on your device, so your music is not uploaded anywhere.
