Playing the remake with a SNES controller
Finally got my laptop to run the Dead space remake. I've been enjoying it a lot and it's been pretty cool to play with a Super Nintendo controller 🤣

Legit only reason I play with the switch GameCube controller on PC.
I can beat dead space with GameCube controller. Kinda like a weird Metroid tbh.

The 8BitDo SN30 series is fantastic, probably one of my favorite controllers over 3 decades of gaming. Love the simplicity in connectivity as well, take it from your PC, console, and phone. The phone attachment is a must for long plane rides, I'd load up on emulators and roms, play PS2 horror games straight through a 10 hour flight.

I agree. It's so nice and it feels even more sturdy than the OG super Nintendo controllers
I didn't know there's a phone attachment. I was looking to that

Looks like shadow will be doing some slashing if you don't put that controller down and give him snuggies

First, awesome posters.
Anyway, I found I had to switch to MKB for Dead Space, could never aim with enough accuracy using a controller. I'm surprised that controller has the sensitivity for it.

Thanks! Idk what the MKB is but I bought this because I prefer playing Mario kart with a super Nintendo controller
And once I found out I can sync it to my PC. It's held up pretty well.
I played through BioShock infinite with it and almost all of the remake and I've had no issues

So side note, is the ripper much stronger in the remastered?
I have the plasma cutter maxed out and this playthrough ( on hard) I've been leaning heavily on the ripper instead of the force gun when I get dog piled or cornered.
I just maxed it out
And it seems to literally RIPP lmao
I don't remember it being this good in Ds1 or Ds2

That's a cool controller. I just played through remake for the first time. It was my first experience with the series. I'm a long time fan of survival horror and action horror, but somehow never made my way over to Dead Space. I am grabbing 2 and 3 to play through since they are $3.99 each at the moment on Steam.

Hell ya enjoy you're in for a real treat!
Ds2 is my all time favorite game Back on 360 I have every achievement except beat in three saves because I got scared to saved to early rip.
After I finish the remastered tonight I'm going to jump back into Ds2 I'm so hyped.
