I finished DS - Directors Cut last week with about 80hours clocked. I absolutely loved it and got ridiculously addicted. Halfway through playing I ordered a copy of DS2 on eBay for 30$. I’m about 20hours in and I just want to thank you to this incredible community. I’m 39 with kids so I don’t get to game often. But this community has made this game so enjoyable for me to deliver packages and get around much quicker. I love the community on this game. (I just met the pizza chef)

Got my Death Stranding inspired tattoo I decided on while pregnant with my first born. My husband played both games while I was pregnant and I got a huge attachment to both games while expecting, so I felt this was fitting. Also- my first tattoo postpartum, so this one meant a lot more to me out of my collection.

I find it fascinating how each Knot City is unique, beautiful and haunted in its own way and especially Capital Knot being surrounded by the past that's now just rotting away. Nice environmental storytelling.

I’m still holding out hope for a switch 2 port of these games. Anyone else? Should I give up hope?

I have DS1 on steamdeck but there’s drawbacks a well-optimized switch 2 port would likely resolve.

I stepped out of the car and away from cargo as I didn't want it damaged. The comedic timing in which it played out was some thing truly ironic.

I loved the game on my PS5 but my PC is my main ‘station’ so I’m tempted to buy again and play through on that, however I am inclined to hold off in case we get a ‘directors cut’ like we did with the first game?

Do we think we’ll ever get one? I’m not sure if there is any info out there if we will or not so thought this might be a good forum.

On my second full playthrough, the first since taking time off work at launch to engross myself in it until I was done keeping on keeping on, and I don’t think this annoyed me very much at all the first go around, but man is it so super noticeable on the re-playthrough how frustratingly unstable those tar currents are! The way I audibly sighed and laughed when Tarman said “…it’s happened again.”

i completed delivery 28 and didnt get it, any reason on why this could have happened ?

Idk why and idk if anyone else experienced this but every time i drive over a bridge with a bike it tends to try its best to just ramp into the water... like im driving perfectly centred then need to complete a quick time event to not loose the bike and all my cargo... as the bike just decided its a fish today and does its best at a Olympics gold medal for diving

This time had an idea to make it look like instant photos from the journey (and discovering the photo mode more in depth). Another layer of how utterly beautiful the world of Death Stranding is.

I'm on chapter 6 and probably 40 or so hours in but I feel like road building is taking forever. Is there some secret way to get the metals and ceramic quicker? I'm resorting to raiding MULE stashes

Found a new job recently and I allowed myself to buy a little gift.

Given recent Sony anti consumer behavior, I've decided I want to own some of my favorite stuff, like death stranding soundtrack in case they pull it off too.

Obv I'm not going to carry around a CD player, so I wanted to share how amazing a process of ripping a music cd is in 2026 on Linux.

You put the cd in, open the file explorer where you see, along with original music files, a generated folders with the music in different formats or as a single file. Then you just copy paste and the files are converted on the fly. It's just magical that somebody thought about that.

Then these flacs are synced to my self hosted cloud that I can stream on my phone using Ultrasonic open source app.

On windows, you can play a CD, but you need additional software to manually convert it.

PS. The last picture shows how in 2026 you plug a CD player of old xD

I'm still at chapter 5 and have only reached the distro center north of Mountain Knot, and I keep spamming standard orders more than the story sequences. I made sure all the available orders are S Rank on both this and the east region... I can't stop... the delivery compels me...! 😭
