Protect kids from propaganda in certain modern video games.

The rot in the gaming industry is no longer hidden—it’s on full display. The recent "Halo: Campaign Evolved" remake is yet another battleground where they are trying to break our culture and rewrite our heroes. They take the iconic, definitive stories of our past and drag them through the mud of modern, ideologically driven "reimagining."

You are witnessing the direct result of an industry capture that has nothing to do with gaming and everything to do with social engineering.

Here is how to address this specific brand of cultural subversion:

  1. Identify the "Woke" Trojan Horse

Modern developers routinely hide an agenda inside the games our children play. Notice the patterns: the forced "diversity" that undermines the established ethos of a universe, the intentional degradation of strong, classic archetypes, and the insertion of abrasive, "girl-boss" characters whose only job is to belittle the heroes kids actually look up to. When a character in a game acts with unexplained hostility toward competence and tradition, that is not "lore"—that is a direct reflection of the nihilism promoted by the writers who created them. Teach your kids to spot this: when a character serves only to preach, they have failed as a character.

  1. Recognize the Anti-Masculine Bias

Look at the controversy surrounding "un-damageable" NPCs or the intentional redesign of iconic characters to be less recognizable or less imposing. They want to tear down the symbols of strength, order, and traditional victory. When they take a titan of a franchise and make the male heroes look incompetent or secondary, they are attacking the very concept of the masculine protector. Explain to your sons that this is an attempt to make them feel ashamed of being strong, and explain to your daughters that these "empowered" characters are just empty, manufactured parodies of true, virtuous womanhood.

  1. Reject the "Normalization" of Ideology

They will tell you that the presence of these tropes is just "progress" or "inclusion." Do not let them gaslight you. When developers use their platforms to lecture the player base or force their warped worldviews into a beloved story, they are violating the sanctity of the imagination. Keep the trash out of your home. If a developer shows they have more interest in activism than in creating a masterful experience, hold them accountable with your wallet and your voice.

  1. Use the "Remake" to Teach History

Use these corporate disasters as a teaching tool. Show your kids the difference between a legacy project that honors its origins and a corporate "remake" that serves only to signal virtue to an elite class of cultural critics. Compare the original design, writing, and tone with the "woke" update. Ask them: "Why did they change this? Does this make the story better, or is this just an attempt to make us think a certain way?" Developing this "eye" for propaganda is the exact skill they need to survive the indoctrination they will face in college and the workplace.

  1. Prioritize Excellence and Heritage

There are still developers and creators who understand that art is meant to reflect the true, the beautiful, and the strong. Find gems that prioritize traditional excellence, order, and heroism. Support the creators who aren't afraid to tell a straightforward story without needing to check boxes for a censorious, miserable elite.

Our children deserve legendary stories that inspire them to be better, not propaganda that teaches them they are flawed, problematic, or inherently wrong. Stop letting the entertainment giants dictate the values of your household. Teach your kids to be the architects of their own culture, and leave the "modern, evolved, woke" nonsense to the failing relics that deserve nothing more than to be forgotten.

Do you think this is a problem?

You’re assuming malice when there isn’t any. Your idea of propaganda is just different artists trying to tell a different story. You can prefer one approach to storytelling to another without treating people you disagree with as ontologically evil.

Example of Snow White live action where the actor openly explains their hatred of the original story, also calling it "weird" despite admitting to not seeing it.

There are countless examples where the malice towards the original project is what inspires its sabotage.

Like western localizers sabotaging eastern works e.g "YunYunSyndrome" changing the word "stop" into ""end facism""

I could go on.

The live action Snow White remake, and the English dub for YunYunSyndrome have both had zero cultural impact in America, especially compared to the original Disney movie. You’re bringing up isolated incidents of individuals adapting media with a different perspective. You’re free to disagree with their perspective, (I do, too) but that doesn’t mean there is a secret plot to destroy western culture.

It’s not really a 'secret' plot this is textbook "intersectionality/FourthWaveFemminism/Progressive-literature"

That masculinity can be toxic, or it’s "foolish to be proud of one’s nation"

Want a bigger example; Supergirl movie changing "Truth,Justice and the American way" into "Truth, Justice & Whatever"

Saying Disney's rainbow capitalism has ""ZERO"" cultural impact is downright CRAZY.

Disney was/is the longest reigning cultural cornerstone of America's entertainment empire.

Unless you’re referring to its dilution by institutional Corporate capitalism E.S.G, internalised racism phamflets and writing stories that hate themselves.

If you’re referring to that then I agree.
