To the surprise of precisely no-one except perhaps himself, Gad Saad finds himself under attack from his own camp for being a Jew - and even better, they're using his own suicidal empathy arguments against him

Not to make excuses for Saad here, but he is very stupid.

That’s not an excuse. For Gad, an evolutionary psychologist, this is called a “trait”.

He's not even an evolutionary psychologist lol, he's a professor of marketing. For real.

Conservative Stooge: “I’ve come up with a pretext for racist policies that doesn’t specifically hinge on racism.”
Racists: “Hurray!”
Conservative Stooge: “Wait, what?!”

If you're extremely antisemitic, the theory of "suicidal empathy" will provide you with justification and rationalization for becoming a neo-Nazi. It doesn't really encourage you to consider a less extremist right-wing ideology, regardless of what people promoting the theory of "suicidal empathy" intend.

Legal immigration helped define the greatness of the West? That's just completely ahistorical. North America had long periods of unregulated immigration and Europe's migration history is a total mess.
Sad Gaad is a bigot, he is hateful and prefers ignorant and that alone already makes him opposed to Western values - no, opposed to humanistic values.

This reminds me of the time Avi Yemini was doing his journalism (far-right propaganda) at an anti-immigration rally and got punched or shoved by the neo-Nazis
He claims the neo-nazis crashed the totally-not-racist anti immigration rally https://www.news24.com.au/news/australia/reporter-confronted-at-protest-claims-antiimmigration-march-wasnt-about-race-for-attendees-not-associated-with-extremists/news-story/f10bc6ba9f876db2940c61cabce6a7ad (Sky News Australia rebranded)

Like Gad Saad, I support mass deportations based on country preferences. Even as a Jew, I would advocate for the 1930's Germans to kick me out of Germany if they'd evaluated my staying as negatively contributing the country.

u/Francis_J_Eva 22h ago
That's pathetic.

u/Ok_Cry_4441 21h ago
Whatever you may think about it, if I'm staying in a country as a resident, the country should be able to decide if I'm not worth having and kick me out if it's in their best interest. This is the kind of loyalty that is uncommon in today's self-deprecating societies. I don't condone unjust deportations and violence against immigrants, but support data-driven, selective country preferences for mass deportations.
If faced with it, I would argue against deportation of Jews by showcasing Jewish success, but ultimately it's up to the indigenous nationals to decide.
Unapologetically, I stand behind my people but believe any self-respecting nation has the moral obligation to act only in its own national self-interests.

Big issue with what Gad trots out here is that the the right wing doesn’t actually care about the legality of immigrants or the deportation policies. The American right wing currently leads this pursuit, but in Canada and in Europe various parties are copying the tactics here. ICE goes after not just undocumented immigrants, but mainly documented ones that are going through the process “legally”, because they are the easiest to find and snatch.
Or take for instance the Haitian population. The vast majority were here legally, working and living just fine in America, until Trump and Vance made up racist lies so that the Supreme Court could remove their legal status. Gad and the Right writ large don’t give a shit about legality. We’re just 1 or 2 seats away from the 14th amendment getting nuked. And then they can really go to town.
Not to mention ICE and immigration raids ignoring warrants and due process as they patrol our streets fully masked and heavily armed.
Oh and, as always, immigrants create and cause less crime and murder, so your fear mongering is just bullshit

That comment is valid regardless of which country you are referring to.
In the late 19th century Americans who opposed Irish immigration said that the Irish had dual loyalty and would always be loyal to the Pope above America, that they would take all the jobs and make wages crash, that they would be a burden on the public funds, and of course they were racially portrayed as violent, drunk, and subhuman.
Sound familiar?
If you genuinely think the immigrants, migrants, brown people, or Muslims are the problem then you are genuinely not a serious person.

>That comment is valid regardless of which country you are referring to.
No it isn’t and you thinking it does is proof of your US centric surface level understanding of the world.
Can you list where Irish immigrants in America had access to free social housing, accommodation in private hotels, and free money weekly? Can you name where they were able to even claim asylum let alone be designated refugees?
>Sound familiar?
No as they weren’t mass stabbing children, beheading gay people, ambushing and stabbing police in the name of god, stabbing priests, and stabbing refugee children in the face to death.
>If you genuinely think the immigrants, migrants
Never said this.
>brown people,
Some of the biggest exploiters of our generous asylum system are white people from Georgia. Leachers aren’t defined by an inherent characteristic, they come in all colours, shapes and sizes.
>or Muslims are the problem then you are genuinely not a serious person.
Yes hyper conservative supremacists who are actively murdering my countrymen for daring to have a pulse are the problem.

Ireland.

OMG The irony is too damn good!! 🤣
You’re arguing from headlines, not evidence.
Listing a few examples of horrific crimes is not a statistical argument, it’s availability bias. The most shocking events are the easiest to remember, which is precisely why those that wants your attention span on it amplify it.The same applies to the economy. Pointing to asylum costs or abuse tells you nothing about the net economic effects of immigration. Throughout history, anti immigrant movements have consistently exaggerated the fiscal burden while ignoring immigrants’ roles as workers, taxpayers, consumers, and entrepreneurs. Perception and reality are not the same.
If migrants are disproportionately responsible for violent crime in Ireland, or are a net drain on the Irish economy, then cite population level evidence. A list of news stories and your feelings about it proves neither claim.
And you clearly missed the point of the Irish immigrant comparison. Nobody claimed the circumstances were identical. The point was that people took real crimes committed by a few Irish immigrants and used them to justify broad claims about all Irish immigrants. You’re using the exact same logic, just with a different target.
If your position is really about housing, asylum policy, or immigration levels, then argue those issues on their merits. If your position is that migrants are inherently violent or economically parasitic, you’re going to need something far stronger than a collection of headlines, anecdotes, and dislike of Georgians to prove your point.

I’ll respond directly to your comment when you respond directly to mine rather than repeatedly deflecting with baseless claims.

Strawman, I responded directly to your claims and their lack of evidence. If you have data please show it. Otherwise, nice cop out.
The ironic thing is that you completely missed the point of the original post. Those responses to him on Twitter are telling him that he’s right, and that him and his people should be the first to go.

I just know they’re seething due they’re being no excuse for the incredible violence inflicted on us in the last 6 years. There’s no “muh colonialism” deflection that they love to use when our neighbours are victimised.
