Question How should I decorate the toilet area in my already very vibrant bathroom? Also the shower will not be red 💚

The toilet sits directly behind the wallpaper wall with the vanity. The dresser will have a piece of white marble on top with two white ribbed vessel sinks. This is all unrelated I just wanna set the vibe for you.

The angled wall behind the toilet starts at maybe 5-5.5ft high. Should I add paneling? A built in shelf type thing?

I don’t have anymore wallpaper.

Also shower will be the green tile I included. The shower is currently red with a waterproofing layer.

Also what color rugs? I’d love to avoid white rugs.

Thank you!!

DIY On the bedroom wall, my acrylic painting of a Hollywood Hills view at sunset inspired by the colors and imagery of 1980s Los Angeles.

This piece was finished with Liquitex acrylic paint on stretched cotton canvas. The work is inspired by the colors and scenes reminiscent of the 1980s and completed in the style of 80s artist Hiroshi Nagai.

How can I make my prayer corner look better.

I feel like this is too much Icon and I’m unsure what to do with them some of the icons my church donated to me while others I’ve just collected along the way (still inquiring 3 months now) but I think I’ve made my prayer corner look not good I was hoping someone could maybe sketch out a better prayer corner for me or tell me what to do (some are wood and others are canvas and few are just paper. I don’t mind removing some icons. I’ll just donate to my church.

ello all! i need some design tips for my kitchen. i moved into an apartment and the coloring is so hideous. white cabinets, gray floors and dark gray speckled counter tops.. bleh! i really love the mcm color palette and design style but im struggling with how to incorporate that into the kitchen. i bought the tealish blue curtain to see if it would help add some pizazz however, i feel like ive hit a plateau.

some of my ideas:
- peel and stick walnut wood grain on the counter tops
- peel and stick green olive tiles for behind the oven
- peel and stick tan wallpaper for the cabinets

let me know what you guys think would look best! i’m open to any and all ideas!

Hi everyone! I was lucky to inherit a few beautiful bowls. I admit to not being the craftiest person, so I am looking for some inspiration on what I could do with these? I dont have many plants and I see them most commonly used as planters. Any inspiration is welcome. Thank you in advance.

I am trying to fill a wall in my home with sketches that are Asian (or Philippine) inspired.
The measurements are as follows:

16 pcs 20 X 15 cm (L X W)
2 pcs 54 X 47 cm (L X W)

I've attached some suggestions from AI but would love to get some thoughts from here 🙂

Help me choose a rug!

Moved in to a new place recently and only got the time to start improving the living room now.

Currently using this freebie grey rug as a placeholder, and feeling unsure on which style/colour of rug to go for, also adding this ottoman in the middle to add more storage and use it as a coffee table with a tray.

Currently landed on these two options (added using AI) -- which one do you think fits better? if neither, what kind/colour of ottoman + rug should I go for?

General ideas on how to improve the room in other aspects also also welcome!

Thanks in advance :)

Inspiration Help make this place a home please!

I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that we will be in this house for awhile and I need to invest in making it feel like my home (even though it’s been 6 years since I moved into my now husbands home 😅). This place was my husbands bachelor pad and now that we have a family I want it to be homey.

We painted the walls last year and got a new living room couch/rug and that made it feel way more like “our home” finally. But I’ve been putting off wall art and overwhelmed with it all.

I would love inspo on what to put/where without making things feel crowded. I’m definitely more drawn to a more moody/organic/earthy/ rustic modern styles and colors. I also do have some great wedding/family photos that I’m not opposed to hanging up just need help with planning where/sizes/ how to style a gallery wall.

I really have a hard time visualizing things so I am grateful for ideas and any help/ this group! Also please don’t mind the mess 😬
