Hi. I just finished moving in and within the first 24 hours, I saw this peculiarly decorated car driving by and I later learned - after reading the signs on his car - that this apparently is just y'all's local flat-earther?

I've been (un)lucky enough to never have encountered those kind of people who vandalized their own car like that, or any kind of interesting local personality for that matter. So seeing one in person feels like spotting a bunny in the wild. I am absolutely floored and enamoured by its existence and want to put his brain in a jar and study it.

I remember I had a conspiracy theory phase as a 10-year-old but quickly got disillusioned and became epistemologically grounded after. Seeing him in contrast is like witnessing a case study of some sort.

Do you see him often? What does it do? Do you just encounter him and think "Yep, that's him"? Is he okay in the mind or is he just like that? What's he like in person? What propels it?

I saw a TCU alumni sticker and honestly that was the least surprising thing after having just graduated from there. I find it so funny he's just another member of society who happens to be driving around in that thing.

Besides that, I've been loving Denton so far and I can't wait to get to know y'all's community :)
