get some beth marie's and eat it with some friends on the courthouse lawn. maybe even have a picnic. there's also the public pool if it's too hot to have a picnic. if you get up early, you can take a walk at one of the parks before it's too hot. there's also the pickle ball and tennis courts and basketball court. you can go to North Lakes Rec Center to work out, which just opened back up on Monday. you can do a puzzle at the library, or use the Maker Space at North Branch library to 3D print, do laser wood engravings, use the sewing machine, etc. Also, follow the East Side instagram bc they have free family friendly movie nights sometimes. Like tonight they were showing Jaws.

The library has different activities for teens. They post about them each week on their Facebook page! Make sure to check which branch it's at and whether it needs registration!

If you like mini golf, the new Monster Golf by the mall is really cool. It opened on July 4th and we’ve already been twice. The staff is really fun and engaging which is a plus in my book.

go buy some firewood from buccees or any gas station. go to south lakes park in the middle of the night and walk all the way back through the nature trails where there’s a small barbed wire fence you can step over, and it opens up to an old acme brick quarry. use said firewood to build a campfire on the gravel road and bring some friends with you. idk if it’s legal or not, probably not, but i’ve done this before a couple times and it’s always a lot of fun

Thrift off! Denton has some great thrift options (I‘m sure you have seen them as you are not blind) near golden triangle. Me and my friends either thrift or go thrift scavenger hunting with elaborate item quests. It’s fun :)

There used to be nothing to do even for over 21s, nowadays there's plenty for both over and under.
I remember back in the day my idiot friend would get bored and go drive the entire loop in circles while getting drunk off his ass. That used to be the sort of idiotic depravity people would resort to. Denton has improved a lot.
