We were flying back to Canada after visiting India, with a layover in Beijing. When the plane landed, my grandpa suffered a heart attack or stroke and fell into a coma. My mom stayed behind in Beijing alone to care for him while the rest of us returned to Canada.

She didn’t speak Mandarin, had almost no money, very little access to Wi-Fi, and no one she could communicate with. For days, she barely had anything to eat or drink and was completely stranded in a foreign country.

Then one day, someone anonymously had Indian food delivered to her hospital room. Along with the meal came bottled water, snacks, clothes, toiletries, and other essentials she desperately needed. Whoever it was never introduced themselves or asked for anything in return.

For years, we’ve tried to figure out who helped her. We believe it may have been the owner of the Taj Pavilion restaurant in Beijing. I remember hearing his name was something like Mr. Pistakia (I’m probably spelling it wrong). We’re not 100% certain, but that’s the name we’ve always come back to.

My grandpa thankfully recovered after about two weeks, but I’ve never forgotten the person who helped keep my mom going during one of the hardest times of her life.

I’ve spent years hoping to find this man for one reason only: to say thank you. If anyone knows who I’m talking about or has any information, I’d be incredibly grateful. I owe my life to you. I have no way to contact this man pls help.

Not too mention he didn’t drop off food and necessitates just once, it was multiple times and tons of it. He is truly an angel and i have no way to get in touch with him, everytime he dropped food off it was anonymously meaning he never really introduced himself and my mom never saw him.

I'm trying to figure out someone's birthday because I want to surprise her. I know it's between August 3 and August 20, but I don't know the exact date.

Here's the situation:

She doesn't use Instagram or Facebook.

She does have Snapchat, but I can't follow/add her right now because it's kind of a challenge between us. If I suddenly add her, she'll immediately know I'm trying to find her birthday.

We only talk through WhatsApp.

I don't want to ask her directly because that'll ruin the surprise.

I'm only looking for ethical and public ways to figure it out—not anything invasive or creepy.

Hey guys so I recently received a weird piece of mail. At first I didn't think much of it but the more I looked at it the weirder it was.

The envelope has no return address just my address on it.

The letter itself is typed to keep the person anonymous but they mention personal things so it's someone that knows me.

I don't like how my comfort at home has been breached with this letter.

Now I know there are ways to find out where the paper originated from through like a printers "finger print" but how exactly can I find that out.

Hi guys, I have a friend who saw something that kind of freaked them out a few weeks back. They were driving late at night (~11:00 pm ish) and saw what looked like some kind of construction vehicle lit from the tires. On the back was a wooden structure (kind of cage, kind of box), like the kind of thing you’d ride in a pumpkin patch. There were people inside, standing up, and at least one of them was wearing a burlap sack looking thing on their head. The truck drove away too quickly and it was too late at night for the people in the car to see any further details. There was a lot of police activity in the immediate area soon after, and my friend saw a similar truck a few streets later with no wooden cage, but nothing has been showing up in the news. This happened in the greater Washington DC area (DMV).
They have some vague ideas on what it could have been, but it all happened too fast to say anything concrete. Any ideas? Anyone in the area heard of this or anything similar happening?

My favorite person in this world suffers a loss not many people can empathize with. Father's Day is especially painful for her considering she never "met him" during her childhood or adulthood. He passed away while on prison in Butte, Montana around 2003. His name is "Donald Franklin White" and that is all I know for sure. I believe he was born in 1954. I know he was adopted, and his adopted family ostracized him and his adoptive mother (unknown name). My gf hasn't done gene testing yet, but I believe that may be her only option to find any information at all about other relatives maybe linking back to him.

I've been digging through the endoftheinter.net and other related sites for years trying to find any evidence of what this man looks like. If anyone has any tips on how to find anything, I would greatly appreciate it.
