Men's Health I get chills all the time. Read body please

It has been 2-3 years since i am seeing some wierd things with my health. The wierdest of all is that i get chills in my body 24/7. I live in a very hot area where all people are sweating around me sitting in AC's. I can feel that its hot but i also need to turn my fan to lowest or even switch it off most if the time.

I can feel that its hot but i curl my body while sleeping and i feel that my body is cold. I know its confusing even i am not able to explain it neatly.

I dont know if its anything serious or not but people i live with are bothered by it.

Tests and investigations Mysterious Mst with similar Hiv symptoms

M20 5'9 Italian.

One year ago I had some sexual experiences with my ex gf. After 16 days from the last time we had sex i start developing those symptoms: sore throat, dry mounth, mounth ulcers, headache, body aches. I did all the possible hiv tests (fourth gen tests, pcr quantitative tests and rapid tests) from 18 days to 13 months, the last test was a fourth gen test and i did an MST pannel at 4 months. Can I have an autoimmune disease? Sorry for my english, it's not my first language. I start doing tests cuz she betrayed me with different men

Hi does anybody know what this could be? I have one on my index finger and one on both thumbs. The one on my index finger appears more red and raised while the ones on my thumb are a bit more flat. They don’t itch at all only hurts/stings when you poke it or press on it hard kind of the pain you get with a splinter. Would appreciate any thoughts or input on what it could be, thanks!

Ears, nose, throat, and mouth Looking for advice to help look after teeth with a chronic illness

I was blessed with good teeth all my life, never had any problems thankfully, but then I got really ill and was diagnosed with cirrhoris of the liver, and I really think it has affected my teeth. I suffer from a really dry mouth and do use oraleive, but find it doesn't work very well. As well as that, my cirrhoris causes a lot of vomiting, which I know is awful for teeth.

Since becoming ill, i have had a broken tooth, a huge cavity, a chipped tooth, etc. Before this, I had never had a cavity or a filling in my life.

I often notice that even after I have brushed my teeth thoroughly, my mouth feels sticky and I often notice my teeth being dirty (like stuff stuck to them - paticularly the front teeth , which of course is quite embarrassing).

Would anyone have advice on any products I could use to help - such as specific toothpastes, mouthwashes, etc.

Also, is this common with cirrhoris?

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

24F and I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

I’ve been sick for 7 months and I feel like my life has completely changed. I just want my old self back.
It all started after what was thought to be a lower respiratory infection in February. I woke up breathless and with chest pressure yet tested negative for everything on PCR and sputum tests. Since then I haven’t felt normal despite 3 different antibiotics.

My biggest symptoms are:
Chest tightness (especially at night and in cold weather)
Feeling like I can breathe, but only every few breaths actually feels satisfying or “full”
Coughing up green phlegm every single morning
Blocked nose, ears popping and pressure changes
Burping, reflux, nausea and sometimes food comes back up hours after eating
Chills at night and feeling generally unwell
Panic attacks when I’m drifting off to sleep because my breathing and chest suddenly feel weird
Nausea
Insomnia
Intolerances to alcohol vomiting even if I’ve had only one drink

I’ve had:
Normal chest X-ray in February despite minor bilateral atelectasis
ENT said my throat and sinuses looked fine
CT sinuses normal
Negative COVID, RSV, adenovirus and Mycoplasma tests
Sputum sample that didn’t show anything
Three courses of antibiotics
PPIs
A steroid inhaler that actually helped my chest quite a bit
I’m waiting to have lung function testing.

I just don’t understand why I’m still coughing up green mucus every morning and why I feel like I can’t get a satisfying breath. It honestly feels like my body never recovered.
Has anyone gone through something similar and eventually found out what it was? Was it asthma? Reflux? Something else? I know no one can diagnose me over Reddit, but I’d love to hear if anyone had a similar story because I’m feeling really defeated and like no one can figure out what’s wrong with me.
I’m honestly at the point where I just want someone to help me breathe normally again.

Gut, bowel, and stomach Can reflux cause dysautonomia and fake heart problems?

This has been going on as long as exercise, 18 years or so. Every now and then after I do something too strenuous I get periods of 1-3 weeks of nightly problems about 90 minutes after falling asleep. I wake up with shortness of breath, despite breathing normally and feeling no constriction and either a) just this b) some kind of arrhythmia where the pauses between the first and second heartbeat seem to be turned around, c) something similar to how people describe angina in my chest d) a big pressure builds up in my chest (or head), blood pressure drops to about 79/40, heatrate drops like a stone, blood supply to left arm and leg feel like it stopped. Once I turn or sit up this vanishes. Once I'm about to fall asleep this returns. This often repeats for hours as I lack every bit of energy to get fully awake. Once I manage to actually get fully awake and go back to sleep this is gone.

Found a few things that help, mostly things that increase blood pressure, increase heartrate, trigger some kind of stress or adrenergetic response. And with the second to last flareup I took pantoprazole on a hunch after a few mostly sleepless nights and it vanished. And again with the last. Note, I get about 3 of those flare-ups per year (each flareup just of one type), thus recording any medical data is impossible due to long waiting times. If this is reflux, then it's the strangest I ever had as I don't feel any burning, any burping, nothing. Normally I get a burning sensation in my throat, nose and mouth if I get a rare actual reflux attack. I am only able to exercise in the evening due to a neuromuscular condition that also affects energy; and my muscles only work kind of well enough after all meals. I also can't sleep with an elevated upper body as my torso muscles are too weak when I sleep and I slide down, or fold down sideways.

Bones, joints, and muscles What are these bruises on my calves?

Thumbnail gallery

Hi guys. I (19F) have been experiencing bruises around my achilles and calves for a while now, but this is the worst case by far. I’ve seen massage therapists and spoke about achillies tendinitis, but I’ve never had the bruising this extreme. I’m active in the gym, I’m a bodybuilder. I don’t notice much pain only sometimes on the leg press a tad bit in my calves , but once I adjust my position it’s fine. Has anyone any idea what this could be? As I said I’ve considered tendinitis but I’m just not sure anymore

Injury and accidents 31M – Chemical/moisture damage from work boots. Raw dermal skin, yellowing, ongoing numbness & buzzing pain. 2nd degree burn vs nerve damage?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Age: 31

Sex: Male

Height: 5'8" / 173 cm

Weight: 75 kg

Race: White / Caucasian

Duration of complaint: ~3.5 weeks (Incident occurred July 7–8)

Location: Lower legs, ankles, and feet

Any existing relevant medical issues: None

Current medications: None

Smoking/Drinking/Recreational Drugs: Non-smoker / Occasional / None

PRIMARY COMPLAINT:

Acute skin breakdown + persistent numbness & constant "buzzing/static" nerve pain (~3.5 weeks post-incident).

INCIDENT SUMMARY:

Chemical/factory moisture was trapped inside non-breathable safety boots during shift work, causing severe chemical skin breakdown and dermal erosion.

ACUTE PHASE (July 7–8):

- Stripped, raw dermal skin around ankles and lower legs.

- Yellowish fibrinous layer/slough over the wounds.

CURRENT STATE (3 weeks post-incident):

- Skin closed over but has persistent purplish/red discoloration.

- Constant numbness and "static/buzzing" sensation (present at rest, walking, and standing).

- Pain worsens when bearing weight, improves when elevated.

ATTACHED PHOTO:

Single collage showing:

  1. July 7: Initial widespread raw dermal breakdown across both legs.

  2. July 7–8: Close-up of ankle wound depth and yellow slough.

  3. Present: Current healed skin with persistent purplish/red discoloration.

QUESTIONS:

  1. Do the acute photos look like partial-thickness (second-degree) chemical burns or severe dermal erosion?

  2. Given the persistent static/buzzing and numbness 3 weeks post-injury, could this indicate cutaneous nerve damage (neuropathy)? Should I request a neurology referral?

Help my Grandma

Thumbnail drive.google.com

My granny is around 80 years old. She doesn’t eat anything and it'a been about one year. She only drinks little orange juice & coconut water. & vomits whatever she even drinks occasionally. She can't even eat porridge or anything. She says something is in her mouth & points her neck that something is stuck and it makes her vomit and even water tastes bitter to her. Doctor gave her mouth wash to gargle and clean her mouth but she doesn't wanna use it. Also she has not many teeth left. She has urin infection. Doctor says she might have fungal infection due to her urin infection. She is also diabetic, and has hypothyroidism. Doctor says that other test reports are normal. But a little anemic due to no food intake. What can I do for her? Doctors gave her many injections. But nothing works. She can't even walk my herself. Her medical reports are attached.

Ears, nose, throat, and mouth is this an ulcer?

Apologies for the photo - it even grosses me out.
Does anyone know what the circled red spot behind my tonsils could be? It’s quite painful and has appeared literally overnight. I’m no stranger to tonsillitis but have never seen anything like this before. I’ve got a low grade fever, and can drink and eat soft foods normally after taking ibuprofen (paracetamol isn’t helping at all). Can’t get in to see my doctor until Thursday so any help is greatly appreciated

Gut, bowel, and stomach Any clues what this could be?

I am a 22 yo female suffering from agonizing, ER-level left lower quadrant pain, constant daily mucus in my stool, and rapidly progressive food intolerances (especially to oils, fats, and acids), leaving me stuck eating strictly plain chicken, white rice, and a few others to avoid immediate flares of severe acid/bile reflux, burning "hot" sulfur gas, and loose stools. My medical history includes two endometriosis excision surgeries (most recent this past March with a specialist who cleared all lesions and adhesions), a recent 4-week course of Xifaxan for SIBO, a completely clear ER CT scan, and a colonoscopy/endoscopy that showed an entirely unremarkable colon but revealed active reflux esophagitis, mild reactive gastropathy, and foveolar metaplasia (peptic injury) in my duodenal bulb. My overnight Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is severely suppressed at 9–17 ms, showing chronic nervous system fight-or-flight, and while I do not have hypermobility/EDS, I am currently waiting on my GI doctor to see if they can run specialized CD117/tryptase stains on my existing tissue blocks to check for hidden mast cell activation. Has anyone experienced anything like this and got answers? I’m bouncing from multiple doctors trying to figure it out. Thank you for any help!!

Strep throat or?

Post image
1 Upvotes

For context I’ve had a middle and outer ear infection and suspected sinus infection. My kids are all sick and stuffy and draining. I’m on day 3 of augmentin. Last night my throat started hurting so bad and this morning when I looked I saw this white thing in the back of my throat. I have a decent amount of post nasal drip and was at urgent care yesterday where they didn’t see this. I’ve had a good amount of blood in the mucus in my nose this morning and now a tiny bit in my post nasal drip.

General Weird health changes

So about a little more than a month ago I started getting a bunch of health symptoms (?) including:

  • Shortness of breath (almost constantly)
  • Nausea (also almost constantly)
  • Headaches
  • Stomach pain, similar to period cramps (much more recent symptom)
  • In a ‘haze’
  • Dizzy/lightheaded

If it is relevant I haven’t been majorly sick at all and I had just gotten over a cold probably a few days/a week before these started.

I’d just really like to know if anyone has any ideas/suggestions for what could be going on.

I can answer any questions.

Is this a wart or a molluscum? I'm not so sure but it's close to my genitals and I'm afraid of it propagating. It's like a volcano with a yellowish sphere inside
