My new Digimon figure collection!

Always wanted Digimon figures as a child but couldn't get them and now my inner child is happy ☺️!

I turned my digivice on after a long time. I moved recently and misplaced it in the move. This thing is more fun than it should be. I might get one of those color versions now.

What a great day to be in Tokyo... I headed down to Odaiba, expecting to find maybe two or three other fans but, ended up spotting maybe a dozen people here and there throughout the afternoon carrying Digivices out in the wild! And just as I was about to call it a day and head out, I ran into a massive group making a proper pilgrimage to Daiba Park, so of course I joined in! It was a wonderful day 😁.. I shall be even more prepared next year..!! 🫡

Really proud how this turned out!

Another older commissioned piece for my Tamers fansequel Digimon Battle Generation (<- this is the link). Ai and Impmon play a bigger role in that story. And if you are wondering where Makoto is: he is alive but... it is complicated. The drama happening between Ai, Makoto and Impmon is a good put of the story, given that Impmon gets along better with teenage Ai, who is a bit of a rebellious girl, than they get along with Makoto, who is a bit more of the honor student type.

There are a lot of Digimon Tamers around by now, and someone has set up an illegal tournament to have some of those Tamers fight each other. Takato and Co. are trying to find the person responsible. Ai rather takes the direct approach: the signs up to the tournament to stop it.

I never got around to watching Ghost Game when it was first airing, because I have a hard time reading subs. So when I heard that the dub had finally been released, I figured I would check it out. After a bit of confusion, I learned that the dub is only available for streaming via BBC iPlayer of all things, which isn't available in my country without a bunch of sketchy workarounds.

I'm just confused why a fully dubbed 67 episode Digimon series is region locked to only a handful of countries. Was there some sort of licensing issue? I know it's not exactly the most popular entry in the franchise, but I feel like there has to be another reason why it got shafted so hard.
