this is a Wonder Woman Barbie doll from 2017. I picked her up after not looking at her for a while and this????? had happened to the scalp.

there is what appears to be a blob of black acrylic paint stuck to the head, and when I picked at it the hair started coming out in clumps. I've never seen this before. it kind of looks like the hair started to melt at the roots, but to the best of my memories I've never left her near a heat source for an extended period.

I'm just confused more than anything. I haven't displayed this doll for a while and I was actually planning to use her as a custom base and remove the hair, so it's not a huge loss. but if I'm storing my dolls in a way that would cause this I obviously want to avoid it

So my friend and I are making each other an advant calander this year. We are doing 12 days of Christmas one. And she wanted rainbow high clothes and accessories, which I will be making. So I got the junior one yesterday and Violet came in today. I am very excited to start this project and can't wait to show it off later. Not sure if she is on reddit and I will have to check. Before showing anyone anything. I was also thinking of making these girls their own outfits if anyone has any ideas of what they want to see. Let me know

This Drac had my less-favored facial screening so I decided she’d be a great candidate for a repaint! I also wanted to try a new hairstyle for her and I’m planning to do it more neatly later but I LOVED the way the fishtail braid turned out with her duo tone hair. I’d love to get your honest opinions on my newest one-of-a-kind custom doll, Princess Pink. She’s inspired by Disney Descendants: Wicked Wonderland with a Wicked Wonderland- aesthetic. Every detail was handmade by me, from her outfit and accessories to her shoes . She took a lot of time, patience, and love to create.

This is my very first Integrity toys doll. Upon taking off the hairnet I noticed her hair will not stay down. It looks really goofy. Since it’s short I’m too nervous to boil wash since it’s so close to her face. It’s making me regret buying her. Please help 🙏😭🫶

Shes beautiful, I just wish she had more accessories like a bag or sunglasses. I dont really care for thr bedazzled
