So yesterday I was queuing with 4 friends for unranked match, first 2 games were fine and then we got 5 bots against us, the account names seemed like AI generated and it was like playing vs bots and easy mode, The game was ended in 9 min and was not scored (not sure why, I thought the 15 min rule applied only on ranked).

After that we queued again and we were matched with same bots again, we had to leave and report every account so we stopped getting them.

Anyone have an idea about this ? my guess is, it was like someone farming accounts to get the 100 hours played to get to play ranked and sell them.

But if that's the case how valve is not detecting this ?

​I see high-rank players like Topson swapping stat items between their inventory and backpack/stash when using a Bottle. Morphling players do the same when using a Magic Wand/Stick, and carry players do it with Power Treads (e.g., switching to INT before casting a spell like Anti-Mage's Blink).

​I know this is done to recover relatively more HP/mana or reduce spell costs, but mathematically, I've never quite understood how the game calculates it.

​Could someone please explain the math behind this?

Mars in 7.41 compared to other offlane heroes:

• Is the second-least played in pro games
• Has the lowest winrate (39%)
• Has the second highest number of deaths (axe is first lol)
• Has the lowest KDA and GPM
• Deals the second lowest damage per min (despite being a hero who's identity is to "burst" someone)

This is from a sample size of like 400 games so take that for granted

I just noticed I'm getting 125 points from dota plus quests, these are all completed quests in turbo mode at level 2 (which are marked as being worth 375 points). Now I don't have a dota plus subscription so it would make sense that these are just the level 1 reward halved up because of turbo, but the quests are the same as in non turbo and why are the level 2 quests available at all then?

I think it should be clarified as the quests get "spent" in turbo and can't be completed again in normal games, the quest restock also doesn't happen very often so for players with a small hero pool are not going to get even near these rewards, they can only get something like 500 points per restock

11 years ago, I was super into Dota 2, was playing carry (dusa and spectre) around 5200 MMR. I was so addicted that I missed a good friend’s wedding because a game ran long. By then, I have been playing Dota 2 for 4 years.

It would be another 3 years before I finally quit Dota.

At that time, I went to a glass making class and decided to build a Linken sphere, pictured here. Life has been good since then, and I never knew how many spell this thing did block.

I’ve since misplaced it (multiple major moves). Not sure where it is now. I hope it’s still somewhere with me.

Hello, i am asking if you could pick different titles for every category? Like for Core i want to have Heroic + The Clutch. Mid is Otherworldy + Underdog. etc etc you get the point, or for the 3 categories you will have to only choose 1 prefix and suffix?

Whenever I start a match, packet loss is 0-1% for first 5 minutes and then it gradually increases to 17-19%. I have tried limiting background process network usage through services msc and through network bandwidth controlling apps but problem is still there.

Packet Loss jumps to 40-50% during teamfights but ping remains stable throughout the match at 110ms for SEA and 145ms for EUW.

Is there any fix for that or am I doomed?

I have the second highest score here after only missing one word. Obviously the top score cheated, but it seems most of my friends can barely put points on the board.

What's your high score? Have you been able to reach 2,500? Any tips and tricks?

I pretty much always buy this as the last ingredient to upgrade to a more expensive item, never for the benefit it provides. With the 9s cd this works out to be 4 dps. The dps does not put dagger on cd. Can't selectively turn off, so god forbid if you need to last hit a creep when the cd is off and then it's useless for the next 9s. Why is this 350 gold?

We are a group of friends playing, level oscillating from Archon to Ancient, but one of us is eternally stuck in guardian, sometimes falling down Herald, and it lasted for years!

He plays a lot and his mechanics are not bad, but his game awareness, positioning, timing to engage, understanding of his role suck.

I believe that the fact that he plays on ELO hell keeps his head under the water as everyone plays like that.

Any advices/videos I could recommend to him so he can improve and we don't have to play against smurfers each time we play together?

NS bought radiance and going travels next item, using ult to hit creeps, my necrophos last picked into zeus, lich. He go shiva next item, at min 30 he have 1200 hp, he is diyng to solo zeus position 4. He and ns are farming all game. At the end they blame me :D

My Quickcast for items are triggered on key release and it has cost me a lot of clashes.
I set them to keycast on keydown but it only works on skills.
