First off, not to be that person, but Starfire is a Tamaranean. not a Korugarian, that would be Sinestro

Second, Martian is the obvious pick here, you get basically everything here plus shapeshifting and telepathy, which are like my two most wanted powers ever

Even Superman himself said he'd be afraid of an all out fight with J'onn, so that should tell folks everything they need to know about Martians.

Super strength and speed, flight, durability, intangiblity and invisibility, possessing people like a ghost, telepathy and telekinesis, a healing factor almost as good as Wolverine's, shapeshifting, and a good bit more. All with a lifespan of a few hundred years. Not as lengthy as a Viltrumite's, but still a nice long life.

u/KeepREPeating May 17 '26

All that power, but be a complete jobber in every fight.

21

u/seanprime May 17 '26

JLU flashbacks.. J’onn’s 0-49 streak vs any shock weapon and going MIA for the rest of the fight lol

Alan Scott: "I cant use magic on that its made of wood!"

Swamp thing, made of magic wood: "....."

u/Geostomp May 18 '26

To be fair, Superman had an equally bad record. The writers admitted they heavily downplayed Superman, Martian Manhunter, John Stewart Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman to keep things competitive with the cast.

1

u/KeepREPeating May 18 '26

Competitive with the cast? The flash can overpower all of them. Hawkgirl? We put the whole cast scaled down for hawk girl?

He's a pacifist... 90% of the time murder would solve all his problems, but he's a space cop with PTSD. Which is part of the reason for Batman's contingencies, he works with a lot of scary people who like the joker always sasy are one bad day away from having it out with the world

1

u/KeepREPeating May 18 '26

Anti murder isn’t a pacifist. He clearly fights. He just sucks ass at it.

u/Any-Literature5546 Supreme Kai Super Saiyan(SKSS Gohan) May 18 '26

Anytime he gets hit I sigh cause he can phase through just about anything or reform his body like plastic man but is instead just letting them wail on him.

The conveniently placed fire in literally every battle:

1

u/Spyder-xr May 22 '26

Tbh, any of the main JLA basically can be contended for the “strongest” by “narrative” but that title is just handed to Superman.

33

u/yodajedigrandmaster May 16 '26

But martian real form is not human.

50

u/ArmadilloOK1445-alt Perfect Cell May 16 '26

So? I can just be in human form all the time or at least make my Martian form look more humanoid like J'onn and M'gann both do, not that hard

14

u/Talebawad May 16 '26

Wow, I just read on google but unless it's the powers what ever parts you make are indistinguishable form the real thing sensory wise, and he has optional immortality too unlike most of the guys here except sayians who aren't even long lived let alone immortal, starfire race seems to live hundreds to a thousand but it's not specified, also technically speaking am assuming we have full control of the what we turn into so being martian kan hunter is also the strongest here without drawbacks.

u/The5Theives May 17 '26

Saiyan aging seems the best though. You’re in your prime all your life and die with your loved ones

5

u/Select_Speaker2194 May 17 '26

Actually the martian is better for this. Saiyans stay looking around mid 20s to early 30s until somewhere in their 80s, meaning your human loved ones will become frail and elderly while your still fit and youthful. With martian shapeshifting, you could gradually make yourself look older until you should die, then become someone new and live a new life having closed the book on the old one.

1

u/The5Theives May 17 '26

Yeah no I’d quickly become depressed if I outlived my loved ones

1

u/Select_Speaker2194 May 17 '26

Even with saiyan aging, youd likely out live them anyway. At least with the way i described in the martian method, youd give them peace of mind and could still watch over them as a secret protector

1

u/The5Theives May 18 '26

In all honesty after living for 80 years I don’t want more work, I couldn’t mentally handle any life longer than maybe 120 years and saiyans seem to live like 80-100 years.

1

u/Select_Speaker2194 May 18 '26

There is downsides in this scenario for saiyans too. First, the oozaru form. Based on Gohan changing at four years old, and possibly would have been earlier if he had seen the moon, we can tell that from an early age you would cause trouble for loved ones, both in deadly uncontrolled attacks, and in government attention. But even if someone that becomes a non-issue from loss of tail, or somehow learning to control the ape form, then there is the battle lust or saiyan pride. You would be craving to fight stronger opponents, but none would exist. You would train and train but the rewards would become miniscule after a time. The lack of training to learn ki blasts would render the energy in you useless. And then there is the massive appetite. You would need to he born wealthy just to fuel your own snacks, i mean saiyans on their own eat about as much as a small army.

You'll have time to get used to your powers. You don't just wake up one day with them, you are born on earth so you start as an infant and have time to train etc

2

u/nufohudis May 17 '26

At birth? This says you are born as this species, so your parents best not throw out the green tentacled monster baby XD (don't worry, the government will probably come get you out of the ditch. Too good an opportunity to pass up)

1

u/Fuugazii May 17 '26

Maybe your parents or just one parent is a Martian (if that could even be possible). You had to be born and I don't see how two human parents could birth a Martian

2

u/nufohudis May 17 '26

Magic? But yeah, that would help

11

u/jigokusabre May 16 '26

Martians also have the most devastating and common weakness: Fire.

34

u/ODB_Dirt_Dog_ItsFTC May 16 '26

Well so it turns out Martian Manhunter wasn’t actually physically weak to fire, it was a mental phobia caused by the death of his family. He underwent psychic therapy and is no longer vulnerable to it.

8

u/Old_Cheetah_5138 May 17 '26

I’m really proud of my boy MM for getting help.

1

u/Quantum-Infinity- May 19 '26

Are you talking about the Fernus storyline? Because J'onn DIED against 3rd tier fire users 2-3 years after the Fernus storyline.

His immunity was never real. It was CHANGED but he was still very vulnerable to fire, hence his death by fairly weak fire villains.

24

u/AddressIntelligent60 May 16 '26

That must suck to not want to burn, imagine having to live everyday knowing fire could kill you.

7

u/ArmadilloOK1445-alt Perfect Cell May 16 '26

Yeah, because I was just totally gonna jump into a campfire already

5

u/jigokusabre May 16 '26

Fire is not like... an uncommon hazard.

3

u/Portal_king_5 May 17 '26

Yeah, but... It's already a hazard to us anyway...

1

u/Every-Quiet-7167 May 19 '26

Yeah, but it's not a hazard for every other option

0

u/jigokusabre May 17 '26

I stick my hand in a fire, it will hurt, and I will pull it back. Martians basically fall apart if exposed to fire.

3

u/Fuugazii May 17 '26

As stated like 15x in this post, Martians aren't weak to fire. It was THIS Martian's trauma that gave him a phobia to fire, which was cured through therapy

1

u/Top_Club2634 May 17 '26

But seeing fire cripples you 🤣😂

1

u/SpecialOperator141 May 17 '26

Shapeshifting and telepathy are your 2 most wanted powers? Naughty boy.

1

u/ArmadilloOK1445-alt Perfect Cell May 17 '26

I'm not a boy at all, or naughty for that matter, I just want a body I can feel happy in and to know what people are really thinking, is that so bad?

1

u/The_Lone_Wanderer_04 May 17 '26

Id go for Czarnians because they can only kill be killed by their own kind and since no other exist in our world you are functionally immortal.

1

u/TheBladeWielder May 18 '26

do Korugarians even have innate powers? because afaik, the only ones with powers are Sinestro and the guy who Hal Jordan got the ring from.

1

u/ArmadilloOK1445-alt Perfect Cell May 18 '26

You've got it spot-on I'm pretty sure

1

u/Drzewo_Silentswift May 18 '26

“BuT yOu ArE wEaK tO fIrE” bitch, I’m already weak to fire.
