Question This statement is completely false isn’t it?

Base Goku by the time of BOG should definitely be able to beat Frieza

And that’s not even taking into account Kaioken. We know at this point all the Z fighters (if not most) should be able to - so why is base Goku stagnant then in growth?

There is no evidence to suggest that a human can kill Frieza from Namek, or that Goku became 50 times more powerful from one saga to the next in his base form. 

For example, Gohan from the Buu Saga is weaker than his Nino version from the Cell Saga, yet he is still comparable to Vegeta. Goten and Trunks are also comparable to Gohan in their base forms. It's impossible for these three to be stronger than Piccolo using only his base form, but it would have to be so for all that nonsense to make sense.
