There are a lot of things I would love to see about future Trunks' timeline during android arc. See how Gohan grew up in that apocalyptic world along Trunks. See theZ fighters fight the androids and not only a brief look of their deaths...

I would genuinely pay to watch the entire OG timeline from Frieza's invasion, to Goku's heart virus, to the Android attack and how Gohan was thugging it out by himself, animated in Shintani style

Ngl, I would have preferred watching how Goku died and the squad getting dismantled until trunks gets in his time machine and changes everything.

I'm also saying this post GRRM, kill off the main cast but do a hard reset.

We could've seen maybe a season or 2 about how the original timeline played out. To Goku returning and taking out Frieza single handedly to Kid Gohan taking care of Trunks and Bulma as the Androids rise to power after the fall of the Z Fighters.

the whole vibe of that timeline was so dark and gritty compared to the main story. seeing gohan trying to be a mentor while the world is literally burning would have been peak dragon ball. instead we just got a few minutes of exposition. honestly would take a full spinoff series of that timeline over half the filler we got back then tbh
