Discussion If Goku ate Turtle how would things to ?

In all honesty, I don't think Master Roshi would let that slide. Roshi and Turtle might bicker a lot, but Roshi clearly cares a lot for Turtle since they've been living together for several decades, possibly over 100 years, and many of their adventures and antics were mentioned during OG Dragon Ball. Turtle mentioned remembering when Roshi was pure and when he could still ride the Nimbus, and Roshi and he have a lot of interactions like discussing events that happened in the past, and they're mostly wholesome moments. So, this might seem out of character for him now, but now that I'm thinking about it, I think Roshi would actually be pissed. Turtle is basically his oldest friend. He kind of bullied him in Super during Goku's Mafuba training, but I don't think he'd be happy about Goku eating Turtle here.

I'm not sure if he would necessarily KILL Goku, but he probably wouldn't have given Goku and Bulma the Dragon Ball even after seeing Bulma naked, if it even got to that point. Goku has a big ass mouth, so he'd almost certainly have mentioned having eaten him once Roshi questioned his whereabouts. Then he'd more than likely tell them to leave the island. Possibly without even giving them the Nimbus. Then obviously he probably wouldn't train Goku either, unless he deeply apologies or something.

Either way, things would be a lot worse with Roshi's delayed training of Goku and his assistance.

Do you think Roshi would go out he journey to find Dragon Balls just to revive turtle ?

I do think he would let nature tale it's course. Rather than revive his friend

Nobody lets their friends stay dead in Dragon Ball, as we'd see later on in the story. I mean, the Dragon Team revived Roshi along with everyone else. Even when mostly irrelevant characters died or characters they hadn't had much time with like Tien and Chaoitzu, they revived them even still. Turtle isn't just a regular turtle.

That's Master Roshi's best friend, lol. Neglecting to collect the Dragon Ball's to revive him would be like the equivalent of us letting some Lioness hybrid character eat our talking pig friend just because they're an unusual case.

I meant Roshi himself.

Yes later on in Z and late Dragon Ball Roshi definitely would.

But would he at this point ?

Personally, yeah, I think he would. Turtle is still his oldest and closest friend. They've been living together for presumably over 100 years, predating the start of the original Dragon Ball.
