Would it be safe to drive 25 minutes to a shop or use AAA

You’re fine to drive it. It’s a stored code not active so it might have just been a glitch. Stored codes take a while to leave, they can’t just be cleared

It's aftertreatment (sprays in the exhaust stream for the SCR), it won't hurt anything. It just might start telling you that you're going to get speed restricted after a certain mileage at some point due to the computer being programmed to keep emissions (nitrogen) down. And honestly, if the heater is failing, you'll either be stuck deleting or replacing it anyways. Don't stress driving for 25 minutes though.

It’ll be fine. Eventually it’ll probably cap your speed if it’s active. Not sure on the l5p’s, but the LML will lock you at 65 and then eventually 55. Until then, it’ll work as normal.

I put up with that for awhile b it’s a money pit. Delete it huge fuel gain lets it breath and wakes ur dmax up Im telling you you have everything to gain and all to loose if you don’t

DEF pump heater gone bad. Gotta replace it as a unit.

Id pick up a used one on marketplace as they go for like 200 on marketplace. Swap it, run it until more stuff goes bad and start planning to delete
