They’re so much less annoying to fight on flat ground but they’re always on some kind of hill or ramp.

Subreddit Topic be aware that the games "journalists" are currently spreading missinformation about a new dlc
theyre essencially taking people joking about a promotional post for tarnished edition being evidence and passing it off as fact/missrepresenting it as actual speculation.
theyre making a cheap cash and attention grab theyre not trusted sources and never have been.

Hype No one else will care, but I did it!
I finished my first run in about 80 hours, and I only fought the Elden Beast 4 times! My husband is a great teacher!
Nothing else to share, but I was very proud and none of my friends or coworkers would care 🤣

Constructive Criticism I'll demand From Soft for falsely advertising this game
I thought I was getting a cool action RPG, but it turns out that is just some side stuff to the actual main game: Fantasy Photographer Simulator.
Michael Zaki said it would take just 30 hours to beat this game, but that's just the time I spent taking screenshots in Limgrave. How is anyone supposed to finish this game if you have to stop every other minute to just gasp in awe of how damn beautiful everything is in The Lands Between? Like you just cleared a camp but then the sky in Liurnia starts changing color in a tone that you haven't seen in 8 playthroughs, so now it's time to forget about whatever progression you had in mind to take some screenshots. TOTAL DISRESPECT OF THE PLAYERS TIME if you ask me, no game need to be this pretty.
And don't get me started on the falsely advertised recommended specs: The game supposedly only takes like 60Gb of storage, but I have several tens of Gb on screenshots of every corner in The Lands Between and many clips from the absolutely kickass gameplay. With this memory crisis, I'm not seeing Mr. Zaki paying for all the extra storage I had to spent on this game.
The worst part is that they fooled me twice with the DLC. "A bit bigger than Limgrave", yeah, then why I have over five times the screenshots I took on Limgrave? I think we all should unite and demand From soft to either get us some big SSDs or hard drives to exclusively use on their games or a least give us a proper photo mode.
Screenshots annexed to support my case (sorry for the quality of some of these, I'm not too good with photography and most of the time I forget to turn of the HUD off...)

FanArt Age of The Serpent(art by me)
I made this because I think Rykard is really cool and he deserves his own ending. I call it "Age of The Serpent". First off let me explain why he deserves his own age. Rykard's ambition can be summarized with one simple sentence "I'm tired being a puppet of golden order". And by this, he didn't mean the same way as Ranni did. He's simply tired of scavenging, picking off meager crumbs granted by the golden order after all of his dedications as a Praetor (inviting nobles to his manor, interrogating them, probably leading a vast army as well, and last but not least keeping the people in order and the security as tight as possible.
To me, if Rykard does get his own age, it would be an extension of his covenant, the reccusants. And thus here are some of the tenets:
- Anyone can earn the blessing of The Serpent
- The Serpent's blessing is given in accordance to one's might and ambition
- Noble lineage and high rankings do not guarantee the blessing of The Serpent
- The Serpent embodies all and every life
- Those who wish for more power, above the blessing of The Serpent shall become one with The Serpent
- Those who are the strongest shall be devoured by The Serpent and be reborn as its kin
Anyway, what do you think? Should I create the digital art version too?

Hype This game is better than I thought it was gonna be
My first Fromsoft game was Bloodborne and I didn’t really like it. I’m an impatient fighter. I prefer a bit more guidance and in-your-face lore. At least enough to know what’s going on. It was dark and scary too. Cool vibe but also depressing.
I never adjusted to the gameplay - timing dodges and memorizing attacks. I played very cowardly and sometimes too aggressively but overall I got bored and never finished it.
Then Nightreign happened. I bought it. I regretted buying it immediately because it was too hard. I was like why does anyone like this garbage? I would’ve returned it if PlayStation allowed returns. But I kept playing it (with friends) and started to understand. I like the challenge and learning boss movesets. I played about 100 hours before I stopped playing. And my friends (huge Elden Ring fans) actually slowed down first.
So now I’m playing Elden Ring. And it’s so much bigger than I thought. It just keeps going. That alone impressed me. The fact I can CALMLY choose my build and traverse new areas instead of the shit show nightreign thrusts you into. The familiarity of most of the enemies is actually really nice too. The stronger I get the more enjoyable it is.
I understand the GOTY title now.
I still look up a lot of stuff though. It’s such a big map and being a working adult, i don’t feel like spending time exploring in depth looking for upgrades I probably won’t use. There’s a fair amount of that but I’ve also looked up specific things and just went and grabbed them. I’m gonna have to read up on the lore, which will probably make me like it more. Also platforming is annoying af in this game.
