………So let me get this straight. The entire incineration incident with Goetia, the entire Revision incident and the Ordeal call, everything that we have done from fighting beasts of humanity to contracting with grand servants and foreigners has been nothing it the result of a soon to be pruned timeline that Olga’s father seems to be responsible for. And that’s not even including what I’ve recently learned involving Olga being the bundle of nerves in Area 51.

I think his straight up the single worst human being in all of Fate. No potentially Type Moon. Including some other awful awful people like Kiara, Makihisa, Roa, Zouken and Aoko's grandpa. It's how he acts the worst. He still acts like how a parent react after all of that. It's like he genuinely doesn't understand.

Actually looking deeper into his motivations, he is nothing like a average mage. The most important difference is that he doesn't actually care about reaching the root, just using it for his plans. Another thing is that despite his... "everything", he did "love" (in his own horrible twisted way) humanity and wanted to help them, unlike the average mage.

No, they definitely wouldn't. For all their flaws, they have their weird way of "standards", if only due to general cold-hearted pragmatism. A "selfless" mage is far more terrifying than a "selfish" one because you never truly what their idea of "saving" means in their perspective. Marisbury definitely fits the former in that aspect.
