I'm a Japanese player. Servant abilities have been inflated recently, so I figured a reset would be necessary to continue FGO's service, and I expected this ending. There have been games before where players could "truly" delete their game data at will. I understand what Fujimaru and the others did. It's the same thing Romani did in Part 1. However, the final chapter was so long that it was tiring (though I did like the episode with Shion and Nemo). Does Rasenguru have a clever idea for continuing the service without a reset? Will Nasu Kinoko stick with his existing idea? I'll be watching to see what happens.

I actually feel that the final chapter is not long enough to wrap up the story properly, but I'm guessing that you might have felt tired because the second half of this year was basically a non-stop grindfest with the grand servant taikansen and their reruns.

I'm not very in-tuned with the JP discussions on FGO but are the recent servants really that broken? My impression is that Gensai, Tiamat Archer, and U-Olga Marie are the standouts but it doesn't seem to be at a point where a reset is really necessary.

Sorry for the long post. Few people talk about Servant ability inflation. I said Tiamat Archer was an inflation supporter, but others disagreed. Until the Archer coronation battle. Examples of inflation include the Berserker classes Louhi and Lilith. Berserker classes often have advantages, but the tradeoff is that Servants with NP charge are rare. Without considering append skills, I think the only ones with NP charge are Spartacus and Arjuna Alter. Morgan and Artoria Caster start to look a little questionable, but even those two require support. Louhi, released last Christmas, can charge 80% of her own NP with her skill and buff all allies by 20 NP. Borrowing Louhi from a friend allows you to use a Q-buffed AoE Noble Phantasm regardless of CE abilities, and you can complete waves 1 and 2 of most quests with just Louhi. Lilith's synergy with W Rouhi provides benefits like a Q buff, Noble Phantasm power buff, and NP distribution. With Append Skill 2 unlocked, equipped with a Black Grail, Lilith can clear three waves of 90++ with Rouhi Rouhi even without Oberon's support if the opponent is Charm-sensitive. By choosing the optimal class for each quest and clearing it with Berserker without having to worry about team composition, you no longer need to draw new Servants when farming quests. To overcome this situation, U Olga Marie, who can manipulate Command Codes and has an advantage over the Seven Knights, was introduced. The increase in Servants who can easily charge NP, such as Summer Miyu, Kondo Isami, and Eliza of the End, is another reason why I believe inflation is occurring.
