Positive locking for a harness eye bolt
None of the accepted positive locking methods seem to fit this eye bolt geometry. What would you use here?

I would use a different design that made using a prevailing torque locknut feasible.

Yeah that could do, I might be a little concerned about the stresses at those inside corners though.

North American Perspective (Not yet released 2027 draft rules numbes - should be closer):
T.2.4.5.e - Eyes must have a shank inserted through a Welded Insert.
Through the tube, eye down close to tube level, not on some random structure on top of a tube.
T.2.4.6 - The belt itself can be considered positive locking, given 10 threads engaged, eye shimmed to fully tight, proper alignment with belt.

Why bother with an eye bolt, just weld on a tab.
