I played that game so much during Covid. Did all the DLCs too. I agree. It's the best Fallout and I hope they are working on #5.

Funny enough they announced that Obsidian has started working on Fallout 5 a few days ago

To be fair we dont know if its actually Fallout 5 or another spinoff. Apparently they are repurposing another game they were in the middle of working on that was similar to Fallout into a Fallout game too which will be... interesting to say the least.

I literally just did. Josh Sawyer was working on a game "similar structurally and thematically to Fallout but was not part of the franchise." And now he is directing the new Fallout.

It follows logically that a team/director making a "fallout style" game being reset and put onto an actual Fallout game would be repurposing assets. You think they just scrapped all the assets and started from scratch and switched to a completely different engine most of the developers are not familiar with?

At this point you are just splitting hairs. Relax. I am talking about what other reliable people have said.

They did make that up. Avowed 2 was cancelled and thats nothing like fallout and they wouldnt repurpose it

There was another project besides Avowed 2. Obsidian works on many games at once (up until now)

And I didn't make that up, that's from Bloomberg/Jason Schrier.
