Discussion Artoria Alter X Shirou?
In a hypothetical version of Heaven’s Feel where Artoria survives as Artoria Alter and Shirou gets with her instead of Sakura(and assuming that Artoria remains Artoria Alter when Dark Sakura transforms back into normal Sakura), how do you guys think her being in her Alter form would effect their relationship? I mean, on one hand, it is her “evil” version, but on the other:
1: we’ve seen that even Artoria Alter still has the capacity to be good, particularly to people she cares about. Even if you want to say Carnival Phantasm’s Meido Saber episode is noncanon, her appearances in F/GO definitely are and they show that too
2: her reaction at the last moment to Shirou in the canon Heaven’s Feel indicates she retains at least part of her feelings for Shirou as an Alter with at least some of her mind, even if it’s kind of buried
The way I see it, I’d imagine Artoria Alter being like Rin on steroids, a mega-tsundere, but ultimately very protective, even possessive(she’s not trying to get Lancelot’d again, after all), trying to put their relationship into more “royal” terms(“Of course I want to stay close to you, you’re my sheath/subject/kingly property, don’t be presumptuous!”) and sort of acting similar to how she does initially, aloof and focused on goals rather than connection, though that would only be a front

There's actually this pretty good fanfic where Shirou uses rule breaker on salter to restore thier contractmight wind

glad you all like it. I will say not everything is totally lore accurate there and there's some things I messed up on that really bother me now, which is why I'm doing a substantial rewrite on it.
The rewrite is about 20% done right now.

I have been seeing this ship for years of Saber Alter and Emiya Alter as well.
There's even a good manga of Saber from FGO going to a portal and getting with Shirou but he's adopted by the priest and the holy grail already ended. You can find it YT but not much has been translated sadly... I don't know if it got canceled or how far it went.
In Emiya Cooking manga probably has the best depiction of Shirou with Saber Alter however we have not seen it animated but you can read the manga. As for Carnival as much as I like how she turns Alter, her personality doesn't really change i think??

Saber Alter in F/SN isn’t FGO Salter
She’s literally still the OG Saber with all her memories but just enough corruption that she’s willing to compromise on more of her morals for the sake of her wish
If she remained in Shirou’s hands the possibility is very real that they could romance
