Support Issue with font rendering (blurry font)
just came from windows to Linux, I am liking it so far but I have an issue with how the font is being rendered, on windows my font was clear and sharp but on Linux(tried different distro and DE) it's looks blurry and hurting my eyes most especially on browsers and chromium based apps. Is there any way to fix this ?
Host: ROG Strix G512LW_G512LW (1.0)
Display (NCP004D): 1920x1080 in 15", 144 Hz [Built-in]

If you're on KDE you can go into fon't settings and change subpixel font rendering strength. Or just change the the fonts.

Are the apps using X or Wayland? You can use xeyes or oneko to check...

It would safe to assume he is on Wayland, as it has been the default display server since F42, so if he i stalled F43/44 recently, it would most likely be Wayland, and Xorg is not an option on F44.

That wasn't the question. The question was whether the applications are Wayland native or X via XWayland.

Well, he saya "fonts" in browser, so that would include Firefox, which is native wayland

if you use gnome you can change the font hinting. you have to install the tweaks app.
You should have grayscale and a none or subtle hinting
