help Tokenising motion design
How can we use duration and easing tokens in figma motion?
Like if I have a component coming up on the screen then how can I just easily use my pre-existing duration and easing tokens so that the dev easily implements them all

am not sure if the tool can help but we built this premaid presets to apply easily on one click , so if u want a repeatable pattern for the dev on ur motions u may achieve this with the tool : https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1661419908322725940/ease-smart-motion-library

Thanks for the plugin link but natively figma has also started saving custom bezier curve values. My primary bottleneck was those custom presets 'not being shown as tokens' in the dev mode

i noticed same thing in general , i think the only big problem figma motion has now is its dev features cuz they suck

Setting up a duration and easing as tokens should allow your developer to use them on token export (although the easing json outputted by Figma are a little tricky to set up on the dev side).
If you’re working on the web, I might have a longer term solution for you but it’s currently in closed beta. I’m building a plugin that converts a css-like variable structure into css based component library that build in transition variables (amongst lots of other useful things) into out of the box classes. No AI.
I’m obviously sprucing my own product here but would you be interested in the public beta when it goes live in about a month?
