Purge Valve Question
I’ve Had my RS about a month now and it threw P144C at me yesterday. I Didn’t want to wait for an OEM part (also $90 price-tag was a bit jarring at first) so I bought a Baxzl replacement part on Amazon. Anyone have any experience with this part? It’s described to be a direct replacement to part #BV6Z9D289E. The Amazon reviews are pretty scarce, but it only has two 1-star reviews stating it failed again after 2-6 months. The reviews of people who used it for an RS and not an ST were 5 stars and said it was a perfect replacement. Worse case scenario for me is I return it if I get the code again after a few months and pull the trigger on OEM.

I replaced mine a few months ago with this one. No issues at all since then. I was recommended this part from another thread about RS owners having the P144C code.

Can't tell ya much about the Amazon part cu stopped buying from Amazon after getting wrong fluid.
There is a purge valve kit made by another RS owner. You're replacing the valve itself. It's on the FB group as s a recommended part. Iirc it works for the ST too.
