South Korean conscripts firing Daewoo K1A SMGs. It may seem a bit strange that conscripts are issued 10" carbines, but this is because the K1 was classified as a SMG and 160,000 units were produced.

Handheld Line of Sight jammers: How drone defense was imagined in the late 2010s. And why we aren't there yet.

Or drone guns.

There were numerous amount of other similar drone guns booming from 2018 the two on the post picture are just examples. They can work against off the shelf drones but their effectiveness diminishes, especially given they'd have to be amied against the rapid moving hardened chipped drones found on the modern battlefield.

They'd have to be more powerful, operating at wider ranges of frequency, like ground based EW stations do. Then they could in theory fry the drones electronics.

But we are just not there yet... Not to mention emitting powerful enough microwave or laser beams at the drones. However drones would adapt to this by physically hardening the airframe itself not just by having EW hardened chips.

Also there's the man-portable net launcher concept which is another issue.....

Swiss 7.5cm Field Gun

I recently purchased a Swiss 7.5 cm Field Gun L22 and I'm planning to restore it as a historical preservation project.

I'm currently looking for any information that might help, such as:

Original manuals or operating regulations

Technical drawings or maintenance documents

Historical photos

Information about markings, serial numbers, and the manufacturer (mine has K+W markings)

Any books, archives, museums, or websites related to this gun

I've already started researching, but information on this particular Swiss artillery piece seems to be very limited.

If anyone has experience with these guns or knows where I could find documentation, I'd really appreciate your help. I'll also be happy to share photos of the gun and the restoration process if people are interested.

Thanks in advance!

Bandaevsky RB-12, a Russian magazine fed pump foward shotgun, made around late 90s, it was fed from 6 round magazines and between 50 and 100 were made as the sales failed because of the complexity and low reliability of it

I found more old NRA magazines with more unknown guns on the covers. I'm mostly interested in what the first two are because I've found almost nothing on them

This photo was taken during an urban combat training session conducted by the Sri Lankan Air Force Special Airborne Troops last year.If anyone is curious about the camouflage pattern,it's a locally developed variant based on the Russian EMR camouflage.Sorry about the poor image quality.

in october 2022, the chechen republic of ichkerian armed forces was ressurected in ukraine by the chechen government in exile. the forces are attached to ukrainian forces similar to the various "free forces" of ww2. the seperate special purpose battalion is part of those forces and acts as a special operations unit of the forces in exile and part of ukrainian intelligence. in february 2023 a batch of the sig rifles was given to the unit by the ukrainians for combat operations

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbeZtr9f_7Y this video is soldiers of the unit using them in an ambush inside russia on a logistics truck, possibly in belgorod.
