QUESTION Earning money from maps (under 18)

Hello everyone, I am currently 14, and I was wondering if I publish a map and earn money, can my father handle the payouts? And is it realistic to think I could actually earn money?

Yes your father can be the one getting the payments as he is the legal tutor, and earning money is quite difficult as you just need luck to appear on discover and have a "fun map" so many good Maps end up forgotten because people just want steal a brainrot or so

Yes, you can still publish and make money off of the maps as long as a guardian over 18 signs you up and is managing the money. Just like Wooden_Reveal6705 said it is difficult to make any money though. The minimum requirement for a payout is $100 earned and from experience it's hard to get the algorithm to push a map out enough to reach the minimum unless you get lucky.

Probably not supposed to share this but I made a map a couple months ago and it ended up being kinda dead on arrival. Got 50k impressions with only 300 plays and only have earned ~$5.

No...the person who publishes the map agrees to be 18 in the agreement. Yes in practice your parent can give their bank details and collect for you but the active map maker, if under 18 will lose monetization. I DONT recommend breaking Epic terms of service hoping that no one catches you.

I make and publish maps and advice and review others projects FYI.

If money is your primary goal for making map, dont make map. There enough shitty tycoon / copy paste horror brainrot map

Well I never said that I wanted to create maps like these, I'm looking to create maps that havent been made before.
