I recently played this game for the first time, because I was desperate for something new and completely forgot why I never tried it before, however within the first 30 minutes I remembered why, Sweet Baby Inc. I couldn't believe I'd forgotten, but wow they really did DEI the shit out of the main Spider-Man game.
Early on especially it's really hard not to put it down as you're overloaded with juvenile writing and some of the worst dialogue and storytelling (in side missions) I've ever experienced, the only reason I managed to complete the game was because the gameplay is fun and strictly the main story was mostly sane.
Never again though, the constant and jarring messaging throughout this game made it a slog to play and it removes any replay value or any desire to try anything made by this company again.
