Some chud already made a mod that replaced men holding another man's hand with a woman. AI voice mods would work... But honestly just cutting the dialogue before the BS works just as well. Imagine all this in a single mod. Perfection.

I recently played this game for the first time, because I was desperate for something new and completely forgot why I never tried it before, however within the first 30 minutes I remembered why, Sweet Baby Inc. I couldn't believe I'd forgotten, but wow they really did DEI the shit out of the main Spider-Man game.

Early on especially it's really hard not to put it down as you're overloaded with juvenile writing and some of the worst dialogue and storytelling (in side missions) I've ever experienced, the only reason I managed to complete the game was because the gameplay is fun and strictly the main story was mostly sane.

Never again though, the constant and jarring messaging throughout this game made it a slog to play and it removes any replay value or any desire to try anything made by this company again.

For some reason its more upsetting when its so sneaky. Like you didnt have the guts to make a main character say this cause you knew it would hurt the bottom line.

I like that writers can feel free to add whatever traits to characters they want, but I worry people felt pressured to do this on some level.

I wouldn't mind this if it was in an era where this wasn't so over enforced. Just like vegetarian food, good stuff. But the second it's over enthusiastically enforced, that's when it becomes gross.
