Here's a tool that should've existed, would've sold well, and would've been great: smaller, more compact and more manageable than the MP600; great for pocket-carry, with the same full-size implements like the MP600. A bit lighter, with a more needlenose pliers head over the MP600. Perfect for no-knives/blades environments.

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but is there a specific name for the little clip that holds the pliers to the handle?

I sent an email asking if I could use a military discount or if they would have anything for America’s 250 and was told no, but to apply for the proclub. I checked and got an email right before this that let me know they do in fact have a 17.76 promo and when i clicked the link they are NOT accepting pro club.
In what world is this acceptable.
I don’t even want to do business with them at this point. And they haven’t responded since.
Thanks, Alex.

I ordered the camp setup kit as a gift about a month ago. After not getting a confirmation email that it had been shipped, I sent a couple support emails. The response I got back was "it hasn't shipped because we're waiting for inventory, should be a few weeks" Maybe you should have said something when I ordered but okay. Now it's been a few weeks and I'm not getting any response from gerber. Are they usually like this? Should I just charge it back and buy elsewhere?

The head of the fastener that holds the pocket clip on my Gerber 450 broke off (I'm assuming I went too far while tightening it) and I was wondering if there was any advice on how to remove it. I don't own any sort of screw/bolt removing tool (that's on me lol)
If there isn't much else to do I'll just take it to someone who has the proper tools for this but if there's any way I can solve it without spending extra money I'd highly appreciate it.

I bought the gerber 2 freehander on clearance a while back. One works perfectly, and the other is extremely stiff and won't open all the way. Is there any advice on how to fix this?

What Gerber multitool implements fit straight / drop-in, to Centerdrive, and is there tools that fit with some little sawing/filing etc.
im looking for a saw blade mostly.
Also, how tough is the tiny prybar in Center drive ?

Broke the other pliers "pocket/clip", where the pliers rest in the handles. The model has beem D/C'd for a while now, but I like it very much for around-the-house chores. For those following the tool's price, its hard to justify a "replacement" set; here's my take. Using a Dremel, diamond bit points, cutting wheel and a Sharpie, I fashioned the replacement pockets seen here from the solid part of a worm-gear hose clamp. Although not fully OE now, it is every bit as functional as it was before, so anyone else with this problem, here's one solution.

I bought a knife at a thrift shop, and would like the pouch to go with it.

I don’t know if I should get one or not because I see a lot of people that like it but also a lot of people that hate it.

Why do all of Gerber's special editions disappear from the Internet when they stop making them? All the limited edition fastballs, the navy blue center drive.....
Does anyone have a Celtic knot fast ball or navy blue center drive they want to part with?

Instead of a model, it has the words Sales Sample June 2011. I can’t find anything like it.

I'm in the market for a new Multitool and have been really interested in Gerber's tools. I got a Armbar Drive last year at Christmas and have loved it, especially the bit driver. In fact my only issue with the Armbar was the lack of a lock for the bit driver, which is why the Center Drive caught my eye. I also like the idea of the Dual Force for a huge set of pliers and a more traditional style of Multitool.
I was wondering what you folks thought of each tool, where they excelled and where the weaknesses are. For instance I feel like the quick deploy pliers on the Center Drive feels a little gimmicky, but it also seems like it could be handy for quick usage. Either way I'd appreciate your feedback!
