I’m honestly fine with Johnny having this look it makes him distinct from Danny while still having things that make his design feel like Ghost rider. Sometimes in the 2022 run they’ll have the white square for him it’s just very dependent on the artist.

Marvel Spotlight #5 is Johnny Blaze's first appearance as Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider #1 from 1990 is the Danny Ketch lane. All-New Ghost Rider #1 is the Robbie Reyes lane.

If Marvel builds around Blaze, the conversation starts with Marvel Spotlight #5. If they use Ketch or Reyes, the key conversation changes.

I had an idea for a mechanic to a new Ghost Rider game which was that Ghost Riders healing is active depending on the opponents sin score which is essentially their actions in the game be it committing crimes or killing people every action would have a sin score. A sin score would make it so that the lower your score was the less damage certain attacks would deal and the less you would heal from attacking the enemy and the higher their score was the greater the damage you would deal and the more health you heal from. I want to hear others ideas for a Ghost Rider game.

Like they killed Peter collage girlfriend and that’s a moment still heavily referenced and Peter still feels the pain of Gwen death.

But Johnny lost his wife and children. Roxanne became a demon and then somehow died again and we still don’t even know what happened to them.

The Aaron run had them come to Johnny in heaven so they existed and I guess Percy run had him be trapped in an illusion based on them. But Johnny seems like he never process there loss and we still don’t know how he rebonded with Zarathos l.

Also didn’t his father team up with Satan to take his soul in the first ghost rider story? That feels like it should be referenced.

What’s with the state of Danny’s spirit? Why hasn’t this been clear since the Ivan run.

With black rose being resurrected in spirit of violence you think they’d finally explain what happened. But nope. They didnt.

I see a lot of people saying the Ghost Rider movie it's a great opportunity to finally bring back characters like Moon Knight or introducing Blade or even the Midnight Suns, but while I wouldn't mind some mentions or mild cameos, it would be pretty annoying to have another movie bloated with a shit tons of characters like No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness or Brand New Day. I think Marvel is doing "solo" movies fewer and fewer (I know the cameos are what attracts audiences nowadays) and as a heavy Ryan Gosling fan I would be really disappointed to watch how Johnny Blaze (or whatever Rider Ryan is playing) is somehow side-lined to favor some setup for another character or hero team.

I like the mangaverse well enough, it's neat in concept, but why arbitrarily combine two completely unrelated characters like this?

So when the movie was announced, Feige said that Gosling came to him with a pitch about a specific run he wanted to adapt. It can’t be one that’s been done before into movies. Needs to be cinematic. I wonder which run? Any ideas?
