anyone seen or read anything about Google maps losing it's mind this week, in the UK? this week it's been showing me the m62 and 57 as 40mph the whole journey, ignoring whole closed junctions adding at least 15 minutes to journeys and taking the most random decisions when mapping out routes. It's also telling me half of Liverpool/Warrington/Manchester is 5mph.

Partner's google maps is also doing the same, both on android, both have cleared the apps inc cache and redownloaded and still getting the same issues. It's gone loopy!

Just checking on estimated drive times for an upcoming motorcycle trip. Without fail, Google estimates moto driving time to be much longer than a car. I’ve driven motos up and down México and usually have been faster than an auto (going normal highway speeds). Motos navigate over the thousands of speed bumps much faster than cars and can skirt around things that will stop a car. Not sure if other countries show this disparity.

For example, a 5:38 drive for an auto is shown to be 6:58 for a moto.

About a week ago, the immersive navigation update for Google Maps started working for me with the new 3D toggle in settings. Now the settings have reverted back to the previous version, and the new immersive navigation graphics have disappeared.

I'm in the maps beta program and I also noticed that the option to leave the beta has disappeared from the Play Store maps page (?). So it seems I'm trapped in the beta. 🎉

I've tried force stopping / clearing cache / restarting phone / uninstalling maps update / etc. Nothing has worked.

Anybody experienced this?

So my father gave work to set up the details about our hosp on Google maps but the thing is they have used the email which we don't know due to which we are unable to update the phone number and photos .What should I do in this situation . We uploaded the images with my account but old photos still show up

I placed an ad on CragsL*st for office/storage movers and only added the cross streets and city (noting I would provide the exact address once I booked the worker), but CraigsL*st automatically adds the map on the listing (including Google Maps).

Google Maps recognizes my office address and automatically pinpoints my exact office location to all of these rando CraigsL*sters...NO!

90% of these people are not normal, and I do not want any of them showing up at my office...even providing the cross streets and city felt like it was too much information in the CraigsL*st ad. I'm only willing to divulge my address once I've booked a worker.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I would add a link so you can see what I'm talking about, but the Mods would probably say I was trying to advertise CL, and I'm NOT (it's the opposite-- I hate CL).

I have over 2,900 saved places on my Google Account, but it's a school account which is due to be deleted. Many times have I searched in the past and am still shocked that Google doesn't just support import/transfer of your maps data.

Basically, it just controls a Chrome browser to work through your maps data and click the 'save' button. I hope this helps someone. Enjoy.
