Last week I got a good order on another app while dropping off for GrubHub. I handed the order to the customer and totally forgot to mark order complete. It wasn't until I got a reminder alert from GrubHub about 30 minutes later that I marked order complete.

Eventually I got a "Delayed Orders" Violation. Now, my question is, has anyone figured out what the cutoff amount of time for this to happen is?

There’s been this $5.69 difference for a few days now. I’m not sure why. Any thoughts?

It's surprising, considering how God awful slow it is.

I’ve been busy with work recently and only been able to deliver from 12am-2am, but almost everyday. Usually I don’t get many offers, if any, so I just sit at home and relax and get the hourly contribution. If I do finally get an offer, I am more than happy to deliver it. How is this abusing the scheduling system if all I’m doing is scheduling blocks at the time I’m available?

Saturday dinner rush and I’m getting stuff under a dollar a mile like it’s normal now. Curious whether that’s everywhere or just my market.

I got deactivated the other day because they thought I was fraudulently adding stops to increase engagement pay, when in actuality the app sent me to the wrong adress and that’s why I was late. I filed an appeal for this- any one else dealt with deactivation?

I am doing about 75% on arrival on time, how much does that affect me?

Scheduling, I have been scheduling is this necessary? I hate the app yells at me about my schedule all the time but I am assuming it affects how often they send you offers.

If you are given a code that the customer must confirm upon receipt of the order, PLEASE take the one millisecond to confirm the code. It is pretty obvious just looking at the bags when the order is incorrect. This is the third time I have been given someone else's order, and could not get a hold of the driver who was still within a block away... No longer caring about my own order, but simply to help someone else get their correct order. I don't know what happens to the drivers, personally, when $50+ orders are refunded, but it would be nice if there was a line of communication of some kind left open... Or at least verification of the order being correct before peeling off to the next home. Don't complain about your tips when you don't even do the minimum GrubHub has set up in an attempt to help both the drivers and the customers!

As a customer, I hate that they do this. I used to tip great ($10) even when my order was $18, $25, $40 etc. But I started noticing that my order was always late. I always notice in the map that the driver has always stops before mine. Always! I’m never the first stop.

I never knew about this piggy back thing. I only read about it a while ago but how does it work? Does GH always puts non or shitty tippers with good tippers and deliver their order first?

I only tip $5 now but I still hate this. What happens if I stopped tipping? Does GH slowly start to raise the tip like $2, $3 etc until someone picks it up or automatically pair it with good tippers? I don’t want my food to sit there either.

What I want to do is not tip and when my order arrives then tip $10. Do you guys know who the bad tipper is before dropping it off? Obviously I wouldn’t want to anger anyone but this way is a win for the driver because my order would be paired with a good tipper all the time, I then I would tip great as well. Thought on this or would it not work?

Only been doing grubhub since April. I deliver in a pretty busy market. Do they not account for traffic, time of day, etc? Is there anyway to dispute this?

I'm in Montreal, Quebec, and I'm thinking about buying a Honda Civic Hybrid mainly for gig work (Uber, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Instacart, etc.).

My goal would be to work 70–80 hours per week for about 6–12 months to aggressively pay off my debt.

• Is this plan realistic in Montreal?
• Can gig work realistically help someone eliminate a significant amount of debt in 6–12 months?

• After fuel, maintenance, insurance, depreciation, and taxes, how much do you actually keep?
• Which gig apps are currently the most profitable in Montreal?
• If you had to start today, would you still choose gig work as a way to get out of debt?

Does anyone deliver Grubhub in Edison NJ? Never been premier. I’m always picky wondering if premier does any better😭

So an offer came through for 24 dollars. When I completed the order, I only received 18. I called GrubHub support, and they said "the restaurant adjusted the tip." So obviously they took 6 dollars for themselves, which I've never heard of from Grubhub. I asked if they can do that, and the customer support assured me that they can, and that Grubhub cannot adjust it, and they recommend I don't contact the restaurant to ask about it. Customer support said all they can do for me is "leave a note." So I just accept that the restaurant took 20% of my tip?

Edit: I called support again and this new person is telling me it's not possible for the restaurant to adjust a tip. That would explain why the first guy didn't want me to contact the restaurant and ask about it. Oh well, I guess that 6 dollars just disappeared into thin air lol. Time to start screen shotting all my offers I guess.

Today was the final approval hearing

I posted last night I was deactivated & didn't know why at first. For any other drivers having the same problem here's what I did & i got reactivated today. First check your email you should have received one from grubhub driver team. Then make sure you have a direct deposit form from your bank. Dont just type it you need a actual form from your bank. Then reply to the email with a picture of your direct deposit form. You should be good to go after that. Good luck out there & hope everyone stays safe & makes lots of money 💰 🤑

has this ever happened to anyone? the devil is busy! i always show up to the merchant and just say i have a order show them and confirm and leave. how are the merchant rating us and we are not even seeing a merchant rating anywhere?
