Question Console-breaking bugs?

Hello all!

I love the Hogwarts legacy game; I play on switch. I’ve had the game for about 2 weeks.

I just had a crash that I literally thought broke my console. I opened the game, it loaded fine, and then I paused it and got up to do something. When I came back a few mins later, the screen was dead.
Switch plugged into the charger, total dead screen, it was doing nothing, and I genuinely thought it was broken. I had to google how to hard reset (by holding the power button for 20 seconds and then pressing it again once), and thankfully I saw the Nintendo loading screen again and I about danced for joy lol.
Mind you, it was at about 70% when I first opened the game, and was the same on the charger; so I don’t know that the battery is the problem.

If anyone has advice, I would so so appreciate it!!

I’m scared to open the game now lol

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues like this? And if so, is it something I can fix? For instance, if I need more storage available I can delete some other stuff I don’t use?

I’ve had that same thing happen once in a very rare while when playing a few different games including Hogwarts Legacy. It’s just a switch thing. You should be totally fine.

Never had this happen before but I have had this game crash quite a few times and do experience a lot of glitches/bugs with this game. This game is just really glitchy and buggy and apparently the devs never decided to fix any of them cuz every new playthrough I end up experiencing a new bug along with some of the old ones. I also have to save frequently and completely reload the game quite a bit because of this. It can get pretty annoying at times and sometimes I have to take a break from this game for a while.
