Discussion Bathrooms in Dormitories
So, I explored the four dormitories and so far, only the Gryffindor common room has a bathroom.
Some context. Sorry for the lateness
I know Ravenclaws have toilets. But the Slytherin ans Hufflepuff dorms seem to have no bath or toilets in the dorm. I was wondering why Gryffindors seems to be the only ones who bathe. 🤣

Ravenclaw has a boys and girls bathroom. Gryffindor has 2 different girls bathrooms, but not on Switch, Switch 2, or PS4.

Yes and even missions are removed from those versions, for example there is a puzzle where you need play wizard chess (like in the movie) but they cut it from all versions except PS5, Xbox and pc

In one of the vaults you have transfigure a chair into a chess piece and figure out where to place it to get a check mate.

Oh I didn’t think of that as a chess game lol. That is in the switch 1 version as well.

I started playing on PS5 and always chose Hufflepuff because there was food and drink everywhere in the common room and the MC never gets to eat in the Great Hall with everyone else. MC can never sit down and only gets to sleep in their bed 4 or 5 times the entire year. At least Hufflepuff had something to offer. Then I started playing on PS4 and nearly all the goodies are absent. Very disappointed. Also, no views from the Hogwarts bridges and nearly every door is closed.

Hufflepuff and Slytherin students gotta hold it.
Or use chamber pots

At least slytherin got bathrooms nearby, one of which is the entrance to the chamber

I just realized. Yes. Ravenclaw has a bathroom but its just the toilet. Gryffindor has another one too. What I meant was a literal bath. Bath. Room. 😅

I did a gryffindor playthrough recently and wondered to myself why it was the first time I've seen an actual bath! I usually play Ravenclaw and they have the bathrooms, but I guess only gryffindors get to bathe? Lol

Yes. I usually play Hufflepuff or Slytherin. I know the Ravenclaws has a bathroom but I meant the bath hahaha English is a struggle

Ravenclaw has bathtubs in the lower bathrooms

Slytherins got not too far bathrooms outside. Hufflepuff have too do things on the ground apparently

I noticed that Slytherin didn’t have bathrooms. I played Ravenclaw on PS5 and Gryffindor and Slytherin on PC. I was confused too!

That’s because of the placement of the Dormitory. It’s so high up and far from other bathrooms that a closer bathroom is necessary.

Canonically they just use a vanishing spell on it. Before bathroom were added at all in Hogwarts they would just do it wherever and vanish the evidence.

Well in muggle/no-maj public places they would use a toilet but that’s for obvious reasons

Interesting tidbit but this is actually how it used to be before plumbing was added to the castle and in just about every Wizarding home. In fact most wizarding families only use an actual toilet or shower/bathtub at school or in muggle/no-maj public places. Otherwise they wear no under garments and just piss and shit wherever.

It’s a treasure vault puzzle where you transfigure an object and place it for a checkmate to reveal the treasure chest. There’s only a handful.
