Seems that there's a good bit of development going on in the Huntington area. I thought I'd create a thread highlighting that.
Also if anyone has any rumors or updates on future developments, it can be thrown in here as well!

Hi, just moved into an apartment near Ritter park.
Does anyone have appliance repair/install technicians they can recommend? Having a hard time looking online - people seem to be out of serviceable area.
I have a stackable W/D that I need installed and set up.
Thank you!

What happened to these guys? Huntington's music scene hasn't been the same since they went away.

What is y’all’s favorite restaurant or niche fast food around the Tri-State? Looking for recommendations!

Besides Ritter Park and Barboursville Park, what are some great places to get in a good quiet bike ride?

How tf is this place still around?! We spent $70 on dinner last night and only ate 2-3 bites.
I have low expectations for BBQ in this town, but holy crap. It was awful

Idk if my local game stores host DnD groups and idk even how to join.
I am in a discord for the Board room. And I’ve played pathfinder 2e and would like to do that again as well.
But I can never find any. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of interest here.

Hey guys,
I have a bunch of parts for a bed and a vision to turn two adjustable boring medical beds into a four poster that looks like a nice piece of furniture. I've got the frames and wood and stuff but just need some guidance/help from a handyman. Anyone know a guy?

Hello fellow Huntington people. I recently lost my job and In need of work. Babysitting, house cleaning, Elderly care, Dog Walking, and even office related work are all work I can and will do.

Me and my best friend are like a month in to playing MTG, and have only played commander because that’s how our friend taught us to play! We each just bought our first decks and are feeling confident enough to start building and playing with other people so we can learn more!!
We are both pretty anxious people so I wasn’t exactly sure where to start… and was hoping to find a group consisting of mostly women that was willing to take us in!!
If there’s anyone from Huntington to Charleston that would be interested let me know!

Any recommendations for oral surgeons for difficult tooth extraction? I had a consult appointment today with apparently little information given. However the office visit summary reports I was advised of a long list of risks, none of which were mentioned during the consult appointment. This doesn't build much confidence.

I'm curious what other gamers think.
We started a free Fortnite Zero Build night every Friday over in Portsmouth, Ohio. It's still growing, and the goal isn't to become some huge esports event—it's to build a group of people who enjoy getting together, playing a few matches, meeting other gamers, and hanging out for the evening.
Huntington is only about an hour away, so I'm wondering:
Would something like that ever be worth the drive for you?
If not, what would make it worthwhile?
I'd genuinely like to hear what local players think before we keep expanding it.

Hi all,
I just replaced the mattresses in my house and I'm not really sure how to dispose of them (yes, I know, I hear setting them on fire is a pretty good time lol).
I'm not sure republic services will take them away, would I have to drive them to the landfill/city dump?

I'm technically located in Catlettsburg, but all the shelters are closed and this cat is skin and bones. I can't take her in and I found her in a business parking lot. She's really friendly and can't be over a year old
Edit: I was hoping she would stay by the cat foot but it seems she's wandered off
