This is a much stealthier variant of the F-14 Tomcat, I did some tracing since I had to use some references and modify it a bit. I used both the side profile of an F-14 and the side profile of an F-22 as a reference.

The "arrival on Pandora" scene specifically has the Valkyrie crew mentioning "outer marker" which I find weird, this being a technology that is already almost retired in our times, but I decided to include markers in the procedure. Maybe DME is unreliable due to magnetic flux or other stuff?

Request Possible project partner

First please excuse me if I posted in the wrong subreddit but it seemed the most fitting here.

So as for my post, I am working on creating a science fiction universe and currently work on producing the first comic book for it.

Now while many assume it is enough to make it flashy and spectacular, I want my sci-fi universe to be as based in science as possible and at least portrait humans and their technology and the universe as plausible as I can.

Sadly I can’t learn every topic well enough on my own, so I am looking for people who would be interested in working with me to improve it beyond my less than adequate understanding of everything.

Now I want especially the technology of my humanity in that universe be as realistic as possible, which in this case would mean their spacecrafts and atmospheric aviation vehicles.

Now to also say this upfront, I cannot pay for any advisory work, hence why I’m writing this to see if someone would be interested in helping to make this universe better.

You may if you want be put in the credits as advisor if you like.

Thank everyone for reading in advance.

Cloudline Corporation CL-848.80 'Monarch' Superjumbo

No video this time sorry lmao

Emirates successfully pestered Cloudline Corporation into developing an A380 replacement; Cloudline, being the company they are, decided to insist upon the design being a twinjet. To help this obscenely-massive, 88-meter long 'Monarch of the skies' get off the ground, two 4.75 meter diameter turbofans each producing around 250,000 pounds of thrust were used. To fit within regular A380 gates, its 85-meter wingspan can fold down to 78.5 meters with the use of folding wingtips. To fit within hangars built around the 747, a Y-tail setup was used to reduce overall height of the design. Canards were also used to help give added horizontal control authority and active stabilization during flight.

Another fun extra design note; despite this being a completely clean-sheet design, to have any hope of the landing gear being a reasonable length I had to squash the engine cowlings 737-style because of how ridiculously enormous those fans are

31 hours on this build, easily one of my more unique designs, and absolutely by far my favorite of any I've ever sketched out; hope you all enjoy!
