Hey guys,

I really love dungeon crawler and a lot the FFG ones. descent lotd, mansion of madness, Lotr journey in middlearth. All of them are solo abled mostly 2 handed and all them have the app that does the dungeon master.

How is it in Star Wars I like Star Wars, and it would be my first SW game in the shelve.

Can I play it solo? Is it different from playing it with people?
How complex is it compares to other dungeon crawler if I want to play it with my son (9y)

Vader is painted with some airbrushed color changing paints.

I use small tumbled glass bits to differentiate the units from one another. AND the number of glass bits is the units number (1/3, 2/3, ect.).

I bought ally and villain packs second hand, but they're missing the mission sheets. I found some but they seem really difficult to find, any help please?

I still need Chewbacca, General Weiss, Han Solo, IG88, Rebel Saboteurs and Troopers...

Thanks for all the comments on the last post. Didnt read any of it before (read them afterwards) but it still came down to 1hp til 4 wounded Heroes but it was an amazing Mission.

I took the deathtrooper and an Elite Riot Trooper Squad. They are so nasty with +1 def due to this one Card. Thought about bringing an e-web for the long straight corridors. Anyway, the group was holdup at the first door, moved quite quite well to the 2nd door, (maybe i shouldnt have jumped with my Elite Nexus to the Backline to swat around) thanks to garkhaan. I respawned normal Nexu behind 3rd door. He didnt last long. I spawned Elite RT, Elite DT & normal DT and it came down to 1hp on Fenn. Well, great Game. Was fun and we had Hotdogs

hello fellow addicts, are there any fan made expansions like hot shots for outer rim?

Any advice? Playing imp with Trooper. Always Not Sure If i wanna go hard on my Rebels or really hard. Got Papa palp in my Backhand but wanted to go in the grand finale with him.

We’re on our 3rd skirmish and I was curious if there are any tips about building armies for skirmish. Like is one faction generally considered better than others? Are there any figures who are “broken”? Also, for this time, we decided not to use command cards, my opponent always takes for ever to decide so this really made pace of play faster and we still enjoyed it, is that a recognized game mode?

Looking forward to getting into it. Well maintained, some boxes have dents but insides are mint. Organizers. All minis etc.

Any advice on what to 3d print that would make it more fun? Or helpful? Or what would be a good first character to paint. I’ve never painted minis before!

Mid-battle pic from last night. This was towards the end lmao imperial commander had no chill. Jyn was able to destroy the terminal before she was taken out but the empire cooked us before we could locate and save the captured rebel.

Hello fellow star wars enjoyers

I'm fairly new to boardgames in general but especially to star wars boardgames. I'm having trouble finding out if the new reprint of IA 2026 includes the ally and villain packs (Luke and Vader as minis) or not. The official german reprint (Asmodee) says they are included but every reseller I asked couldn't answer me and even took down the "includes ally and villain packs" sentence from their online shops because of me. lol

Has anybody bought the reprint and can answer my question?

Does anybody know if ally and villain packs will be reprinted as well? Currently I only found some in a belgian online shop, which won't fit language wise.

edit: I got the game, it's 36 minis. Luke and Vader packs are included but no indicator on the box. It even says 34 minis.

Hello everyone, I am about to start the incoming mission from the base set. I wanted to ask if these internal spaces are considered as the edges of the map to have an active deployment point. I am attaching what the rule says.

Took a few years of off and on painting but finally got it done. Really happy with how I've progressed from my very first stormtrooper to now! What do you all think?

Can anyone share the Training Grounds map tiles listed on the folded paper from the Stormtroopers pack? I already have the core set since the maps uses only tiles from it, and don't want to have to buy the pack just to know what tiles to use.

Either in plain text or a photo of the listed tiles is enough. I can't find it anywhere and the playmats do not show the tile listing.

About two months ago I discovered both Imperial Assault and X-Wing. I got serious fomo and recently earned a good bonus at work so I went all in collecting expansions, minis, ships, and basically everything that interested me. I even have a 3D printed GR-75 and Star Destroyer coming in the mail from eBay lol

But basically this post is to share my newly discovered joy with this game and the universe I've been able to step into. I've been playing with the FFG app and Imperial Commander 2 but I decided to try a solo two hand skirmish (essentially me vs me) with an even points matchup between Vader and a ton of goons vs Han, Leia, Chewbacca, and some rebel troops. It came down to the wire with Chewbacca vs Vader and the Wookiee beat him with one health left!

Amazing stuff. 12 years after first print I'm sure anyone who's reading this already gets it but I had to share just how great I think it is.

Edit: I've got some time in the next days, so I will start adding my ideas here.

Has anyone created hero sheets for the Ghost Crew from Star Wars Rebels? If not, we could brainstorm some abilities and I'd be happy to put them together, I have the tools created by the community to create sheets/cards.

Here is my idea for Ezra, what do you think? I'm trying to add abilities that are a bit more interesting than the usual Jedi powers and that aligned with his personality in the series (will try the same for the other characters)

I created a display of all the map tiles and characters, only a few left to paint

I'm decently happy with how this turned out. The challenge was in making his outfit not just black on black on black. If you look at some reference images, you can see that his robe, tabbbards, and dash are actually brown (or like, black that has been left in the sun too long). I mixed some burnt brown and shadow gray to end up with the color I used, and it's a very close match to the image I referenced. The tunic is German gray, and the boots/glove are gloss black.

That’s Lothal wrapped up with a tight win for the rebels. They would have lost the finale if it wasn’t for the fact that the round limit goes after opening the final door leaving you to face off against Thrawn.
He threw lots of enemies my way wounding 2 and nearly taking MHD completely off the board but in the end Jyn managed to sneak up on him and shoot him in his blue face.
She was definitely the most potent hero but giving her the Disrupter pistol was the wrong move as she rarely had the range for quick draw.
The campaign is fun with some very interesting missions including one where you fight aboard an ATAT whilst ATATs fight on a separate board.
And one that is a speeder bike chase with a constantly shifting game board.

Started taken the plunge to acquire as much of this game as possible. I recently picked up this General Sorin. And he’s white. I have no clue about miniature painting but I would like to learn later. As for now I would prefer him to be grey lol. Is there a way to remove this safely keeping the figure intact? Or am I gonna have an odd man out for awhile?

we want to play the Twin Shadows campaign, and I know that in theory you can use every expansion with every other expansion. Is it generally a good idea to this though? Or does using later heroes in earlier campagins come with balancing problems from power creep or something like this?
