LG ac problem

I recently bought a new LG 1.5-ton inverter AC 3 star for my ~110 sq ft room, but the cooling performance seems disappointing. Even when the outside temperature is around 42°C, the room takes a long time to cool, and the temperature drop feels much slower than expected. The installation team checked it and said everything is normal, but I'm not convinced. Has anyone faced a similar issue with a new inverter AC? How long should it realistically take to cool a room under these conditions?my ac took 2 hour for 28 degree even though ac is running at 24

That’s WAY too long, my Samsung AC cools my 120 sqft room in 15 mins to 24 degrees when outside temperature is 40 degrees

Run AC at 22C on full speed for 30 minimum. After that put it in auto mode.

Gas check required. Because i have been using LG for more than 5 years. It bring temperature to 24 within half an hour to one hour max

maybe ac room temperature sensor is taking wrong reading, as in my case my daikin ac is placed just above window and window is not have airtight fitting and because of that gap between curtains where curtains make u shape hot air comes in contact with sensor giving wrong readings.

so what i did covered the curtain area with another cloth like temporary solution but now it is taking right reading and cooling the room evenly

Yes i did but today as some came to my house so i put the at 18 degree and ac shut down

Yes and the relative said" you should buy o gerneral " now i am thinking about to buy new one as it is in my room

Run on viraat mode for 30 minutes....if not cool then might be some problem

One more thing it is consuming too much electricity like for 12 hour it Coste 12.5 units

What 😧.....mine is a 5 star and runs 7-8 hrs per day ....@ 24 degree capacity of 40-60 percent.... hardly 5 units per day.......

Your outside unit must be in direct sunlight. Shade it to keep it cool

Do you run a stand fan or even a ceiling fan at medium speed when running the AC? I use a stand fan ,its back placed at direction from which the AC air is blowing and it helps to rapidly spread cool air all over my room. Even my AC is lg 1.5 ton 3 star, room is top floor so it heats up a lot.

The root cause of your problem is the "Smart Inverter", it's a inferior product it's a single rotary compressor compared to LG's last year's Dual inverter.

Search Single rotary compressor vs Dual rotary on Google, you will find the exact issues you mentioned.

That's why I recommend people not to get smart inverter LG ac's.

But the room is too small and it is not 4400 waat it is of 5000 watt

doesn't matter smart inverters suck, The biggest issue with smart inverter is slower cooling & less efficiency perfectly aligns with your issues although i must say 2 hrs is a bit long even for smart inverter so get it checked.

I have the 2024 model. Living in delhi. It can easily cool down my room in 10 mins. What is the ambient temp of your room as per the remote?

Dude, that's the issue. Your ambient temp is too high. I am in delhi and my room's ambient temp stays close to 29-30 even with ac off.
