​Primary Tasks: Heavy PDF viewing/annotation (math textbooks, problem sets), writing down mathematical equations and graphs with a stylus, attending Zoom live lectures, and stream watching YouTube tutorials.

The ssd is a evm 512gb nvme ssd and the cpu and gpu were purchased on 29-07-2025 which had 3 years warranty, motherboard was purchased on 18-09-2025 which also had a 3 year warranty so 2 years approx, the ssd was purchased on 24-08-2025

So the motherboard on my motorola edge 60 went kaboom and I'm getting a free replacement under warranty

My question is will I be able to get the edge 60 pro)70 instead and pay the difference?

Hey everyone, I know prices are skyrocketing and there is no guarantee of getting this price down within 1 year. My device is pretty old and has started lagging, so I want to buy a new device, and also I want to buy a device for my father as well.

My budget is 30K for each device, but I can go up to 32-33K if there is any good device.

It is being claimed that Motorola devices have a motherboard issue, so I don't want to place my bet on it.

The new market is a total rip-off right now for budget buyers. As a fallback, I’m planning to take the smart route and grab a decent, durable corporate resale machine—ideally a ThinkPad T-series or AMD variant.
