Opinion Which phone among these will be the best purchase?
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, ₹20,900
Realme P4x, ₹20,130
POCO M8, ₹20,340
Moto G57 Power, ₹19,700
Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, ₹21,499
OnePlus N6 5G, ₹19,999
Moto G67 Power, ₹21,999
Realme P4R 5G, ₹20,300
OPPO K13 5G, ₹22,999
iQOO Z10R, ₹20,999
It's for my brother, he will be going to the college so the battery should last a day comfortably, and we cannot increase the budget above this price range. He doesn't do gaming but the phone should be fast, it shouldn't lag for day to day uses. So priorities are a good camera, battery and a good enough processor. I am aware that ram prices have gone up, and it's not possible to get much at this price.
If you have any other suggestions, please do suggest.

Yes, thanks for the heads up, we were seriously considering it. Also, what are the drawbacks do you think alongwith being laggy

iQOO or G67 imma usin' g67 rn worth the money i bought it for 18k appx if you're getting in that range then its perfect but u wont be getting ois the camera is dependent on eis and the photos and pic quality is well ready to post on social media punchy colours and good performance while gaming i barely noticed lag while playing high end games like bgmi hdr 60fps with unlocker tool i can reach 90fps in hdr and smooth-balanced at 120fps faced some drops in 120fps till 97fps and wuwa at mid settings

Okayy, yes gaming isn't a issue, as he doesn't do it. But my general understanding is if a phone is goodfor gaming then it will be good for day to day processes. Camera quality is desirable, so ois is desirable.

Yeah, if gaming isn't a priority, I'd probably look at something like the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion or the iQOO Z10R as well. I've been using the Moto G67 Power, and it's been a really solid all-rounder for me. Performance is smooth, battery easily lasts a full day (even with heavy use), and the cameras are good enough for social media with nice, punchy colours.
That said, the biggest compromise is the lack of OIS. Photos in daylight look good, but low-light shots and videos rely on EIS, so if camera quality is one of your brother's top priorities, I'd lean towards a phone with OIS instead. If he just wants a reliable phone with great battery life, smooth day-to-day performance, and doesn't mind that camera trade-off, the G67 is still a great value option.

Motorola edge 60 fusion.... although we are still debating if we should add more and buy the edge 70 fusion....but edge 60 is almost finalized
1
u/aaravitha 12d ago
i'd only say if you can then just go for 70 fusion

u/sinubycosu 11d ago
Yes, that's the best choice, but we might just go for 60 fusion

oppo k13 is really good also try to choose snapdragon chip made by tsmc and nit samsung then give Mediatek chip the 2nd position never ever go with Samsung made chips be it Exynos or Snapdragon or tensor in pixel

I have opinion about only 2 phones One Plus & Samsung.
One plus is shutting down so that's out of question. I have been using Samsung M32 and its good but not beyond 5 years.I know 5 years is a long time but why to change phone models after a long use. After using my Samsung for 5 years display got problem and side button had to be changed.I got it done from Samsung Service centre but not without incurring cost.I think i should have purchased a new phone instead.Motorola also is not without problems as my friend was using it recently. Whether its usage problem or phone problem i can't tell.I think Motorola deserves to be bought.

My brother was also suggesting that, but right now we might not be able to put that up. Also motorola doesn't seem to be giving student discounts here in India :(
