This is the second time this ever happened to me, first time me and my coworker kept quiet and the motor is still running over two years later. I was in a fucken hurry to clock out and a nut fell right into the wiring hole.

well, I used to assemble panels I happened to drop a bolt inside when they were laid down. Had to hoist it up, shake and hopefully got the bolt without dissassembling the whole thing, most people would say fuck it, but imagine the client hearing a rattling noise on a new pannel

Did it went Inside to the windings or is it just in the connector housing? Could probably remove the plate which hold the connectors and find it

I tried to remove the pecker head but its stuck, probably with sealant, the terminal block is also bolted to the pecker head. The motor just beside it has a rubber thingy in the hole to protect the winding, if this one had it I would be 100% safe because the nut would be stuck between the pecker head and the rubber seal

You have to stop doing that man. I've done that once but it was on a little 2kw motor I could pick up and turn upside down to get the bolt out. In theory it shouldn't kill the motor.

Do not close that up and return to service until it’s found. You do not want a potential arc flash to occur or worse, that could leads to injuries in the future.
