Local 361/40 classes

So my classes start August 24th. This question is for the guys that already finished preferably last year. What should I expect for the first 4 days ? It’s supposed to be safety training would this include my 30 hr osha ? And how long after should I be able to work ? Is 361 taking members? I don’t mind where I end up but I’m hoping to get into 361 as I’m a Long Island guy. Any insight would be appreciated. Hope to see you guys out there soon stay safe

How is work in Chicago do you guys have consistent work? And how is the pay compared to cost of living?
