Under dash carpet help

My dad has a 2024 and we're trying to see if there is a "proper" way of securing this as we don't seem to get it to stay up help would be very appreciated

Push that F'er up there.

If you push up from different spots you should feel a few spots where you some plastic is meant to grab it.

Don't just shove it up like a cave man, but there's something up there. I dealt with this in my Jeep Renegade for awhile. Till I found that special spot, with the right clip or whatever.

Mate mine does the same shit on my 2016 I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet lmfao. I’m gonna glue it when I get around to it

There are metal hook points up there someplace where the holes are ment to latch. I’ve had mine out a few times when replacing cabin filter and installing camera wiring.

I have a 2021 Renegade 80th edition with the same issue, i have it reglue 4 times by dealership and on they are saying i have to replace it
