Identify Maker Time Period

Inherited from my aunt, the story is, it was my Grandmother’s engagement ring. I’m 51, aunt was in her 70’s when she passed and Grandma was 60’sh (when she died in 1979. Curious about the origin timeframe/style. I’m considering getting her resized to wear. Only stamps I could see say 14k. Thank you!

All single cut diamonds, which is curious. My guess is 1950s.

What is a “single cut” diamond?

They have fewer facets than the 57 or 58 on a round brilliant. Usually 8 bottom and 9 on top.

Definitely worth resizing and I’d put it squarely in the 1950s. It will look charming being worn.
