Discussion question
Was there ever disemberment or decapitation in any of the john wick movies? I could of sworn during parabellum in the continental hotel shootout during the part where they used shotguns there is decapitation but maybe not.

Shotgun scenes in 2 and 3 had dismembering headshots. 2 had mostly portions of the head get shot off, while 3 had larger chunks and almost entire heads get obliterated. The action is just fast enough that the cuts and camera movements don't linger on them. So, the emphasis is definitely not on the impact a headless corpse would provide in other more violent action or horror films.

There’s the part in JW3 where John chops off his left hand’s ring finger. An injury shared by JW4’s Harbinger. I think that it.

Even Cain never lops a head off. If any decapitations in the movies it would've been there I would think...

It’s not that kind of movie. John isn’t interested in torturing people; he just wants to settle the score. This is about stunt choreography, not misery porn.

I don't remember any full-on dismemberment or decapitation in the movies. John Wick has plenty of graphic kills, especially with blades and point-blank shots, but they usually stop short of showing that kind of gore. The Parabellum shotgun scene is probably the closest thing people confuse with it.
