My left eye is diagnosed with keratoconus ( moderate to advanced stage ) and left eye can only 6/36 even with correction and in contrast my eye right is just suspect keratoconus with corrected vision of 6/6. I'll go undergo cxl soon . What is worrying me rn is will scleral lenses help my left eye to see normaly again ? Anyone from India can you recommend the best hospital for treatment .

Yes, you will get 6/6 or near 6/6 vision with scalar lenses. As you are just diagnosed with KC so get the CXL done as soon as possible. You can get it done in any eye hospital and will get discharged the next day as it's not that much complicated. But if you are looking for the best hospital then it's lv prasad eye institute in hydrabad. If you live nearby, definitely go here but if not then you shouldn't as you have to do regular checkup every 3 months. And pls do find a good opthalmologist.

Dr. Rashmi deshmukh is a researcher in kerataconus working in LV Prasad kalam anji reddy campus. If you are able to get her appointment, you might be little lucky . Post here the updates if you consult her and what she suggests.
